It takes a lot of courage to admit when you have done something wrong; particularly something that could get you in a lot of trouble with the law. It sounds like you were going to get away with it too, but still you came forward. Thank you for your honesty and integrity to realize your wrong doing and do the right thing; it shows a lot of who you "really" are. Everyone makes mistakes they later regret, but it's the rare person that actually stands up and holds themselves accountable. I wish you the best and hope the court will be understanding.
