What we need

The Jazz are a better team with a healthy Memo; but they are even a much better team when they are motivated to play hard and defend as a team.

Chadders

He better be there tomorrow. I am going and it is my birthday. Please Memo play for my b-day?

jazz fan..!

Okur, i hope you get better soon.

todd from santa ana

I would hope as a precaution he stays out. We need him. Due to the loss last night that should not have happened, the only thing in my mind that will offset and erase this is to win the next 4 games. That is expected home wins vs Houston and CLippers
winning at Dallas and beating Spurs

4-1 after first would be good and besides here is a golden chance for Kous to get a ton of playing time vs the Clops and Fez could start. Needed experience playing versus like of Kaman and Camby

I think a good game plan for the Jazz would be to have Deron Williams shoot 75% of the time, OKur about 15 and the rest of the team can divide the rest. :)

Clippers no longer the "Clops"

Don't underestimate the clippers they have already played well against the Lakers and Phoenix and had a chance to win both games. And all that without Griffin.

Miles

Dwill play some defense.

FDR

Give Koufos some minutes please. He will help in Okur's absence. Remember the stretch when he started as a rookie last year and did fantastic. Give him some of Okur's minutes.

go Okur

loved your comments at half time, you are young. Okur is going to have the best 3 point shooting percentage in the league. Keep lofting those shots Okur.

Fans, of Koufos if you have not learned anything yet Jerry does not read (maybe he can't read ) these leters to the editor to see who he should play. Koufos will get playing time when he shows he is capable of making great decisions and moves on the court in an NBA game. Till then fans keep talking to your tv during the game, which does as much good as sending letters to the paper telling the coach who he should play.

What?

FDR...your starting to creep me out with your obsession with Koufos...thats like me begging and crying to have John Crotty start over stockton and throwing fits everytime Crotty wouldnt play....yeah...that ....kind of creepy,....ok? im going back to my couch and watch some Classic Jazz games.......yeah........bye

Brite side

Now if Boozer could sit out too we could play our young bigs and have some defense in the paint.

Surprised?

C'mon. Like we didn't know that leaving Memo in the game injured with a few Denver head cases going after him wouldn't leave him unable to play tonight. They could've benched Booz, let Memo rest, put Fes in, and I'd bet my last breath Memo would be playing tonight and we'd have won against Denver. Memo is good, but to play an injured guy is like putting a wounded sheep in front of a wolf. You're always taking the chance the whole pack will arrive to eat him alive, and Denver really tried. With Harpring gone, we need a new Punisher. Ronnie Price: bulldog. Fes: King Kong Go for it guys! If you're going to play the injured, you better find someone to watch his back.

Miles

When Jerry starts making decisions based on what is best for the defense. Then the Jazz will start showing some promise.

todd on Jazz "defense"

Miles, good news

Jerry decided to go with defensive "specialists" tonight

here is the starting 5

PG Duck Williams
Sg Darrell Griffith
SF Antoine Carr
PF Greg Oestertag
C Mark Eaton

SLoan, thought this would "pack the paint" even though he would allow 50 "3s" from the corner, figured our opponent would only hit a small percentage and the Fred Gwynne Hermie Munster bodies would clog the court suffocating the opposition.
