I won't be going to see this movie, but why didn't the the producers/writers just do another version of Madame Bovary? I've read the book, and some of the screen adaptions leave a lot to be desired. This one sounds like they have the plot, and with a nudge or two could have made the classic movie with a more modern, less French twist.
