Go MUSTANGS!!! Good luck! Hopefully this is our year to take it all. It will be a daunting task as we will have to go thru a tough Salem Hills team. After that the road looks even tougher. We will probably see Highland, Timpview and then Bountiful, if we can win obviously! But I think that this year, we have the talent to take it all! One game at a time, lets get that state championship trophy back to Cache Valley!

ps- it says in the artcile that MC lost it's second game of the season to Lone Peak! Sorry, but that is incorrect. The Lone Peak game was MC's only loss, and it came off of a 70 yard touchdown bomb with one minute left! If MC could have pulled that one out they would be undefeated!

This one won't be close. Look for some Mustang underclassman to get some playoff experience. MC 55 Salem Hills 7

The article is saying that it was MC's second game of the season.....not their second loss.

FNR, I believe the article is saying it lost its second game of the season, referencing that the loss came in Week 2.

As a fan of Coach Morgan...I want Salem Hills to win this game. He is such a great coach and what he's doing with those kids is fantastic! But my wants and my realistic views are different. Mountain Crest wins 42-17

Re: PS...yeah LP won on a 70-yard bomb, but the fact of the matter is Lone Peak did what they had to do to win. They played a great game and Mountain Crest came up short. Sure you aren't undefeated, but at least you can go into the playoffs knowing that you lost to one of the best 5A teams in the state. If you guys go all the way, please take it all. I think you guys deserve it with your record and hard work.
RE: FNR | 11:02 a.m. Oct. 29, 2009
If you read the article carefully it IS NOT implying that Mt. Crest lost two games but that they lost their 2nd game of the season. Lone Peak was game #2 which was the second game of the season so the article is correct!

@ What?

You are right. Sorry about that. I guess I should make sure what I am posting is right before I actually do. Thanks.

This game will NOT be closer than most people think as the STANGS bury SH 45-17.......

The only reason this game will be close is if MC gets a bunch of Personal Fouls, which they have done all season, and has other penalties. If MC doesn't commit stupid penalties there is no chance for SH to even score a point in the game. GO MC and make Northern Utah proud.

No way this game will be close. Salem has come a long way, but Springville handed it to them. If you look at it on paper MC will hand it to them as well
