Maynor/Mathews were immediately abused.....deer in the headlights...both of them.

The both looked good in preseason but Ty Lawson abused Maynor and made him look clueless.

Clearly they may have some ability but now we know why Jerry does not play rookies that much. They immediately gave up the point margin/all the hard work the starters put in when they were on the floor.

It takes very little time to watch a sizable margin vanish and its got to be very frustrating for Deron to know that he can't leave the floor. Last night was a prime example. We try to give Deron a rest and BAM the lead went to 9 points instantly.

Too much to overcome.

Unless the backups can learn to provide some quality minute it will be a long season. What many people don't realize is that their failure to run the offense adequately results in missed shots which results in fast break and transition points for the other team.

It is not just a matter of we cant make baskets--it hurts doubly because lousy offensive possessions often end in points for the other team.

Yea, less than 3 minutes of pt (playing time), you make it seem like EM-3 was out there all game. Ty is going to get by 90% of the other NBA guards also, he ran UNC like Speedy Gonzalez. He was expected to get major minutes from day 1, my man EM-3 is playing behind an allstar and he will get it going. Denver is a good team and they seem to have what they need to be better this year, so i'm not mad at all, that's just 1 game-i'm not jumping ship.
I don't have a solution so I won't be part of the problem.
