This child molester got Probation!!!! That's crazy! No wonder these guys do it again & again. They graduate to worse offenses when they get away with things like this. Our Judicial system should be tougher on Pediphiles. I pray the next girl lives.

I really find it disturbing that a man having sex with a 13 year old gets only probation.
While I am all for mercy and understnding, I do not think this punishment fits the crime. At least give him some jail time, 90 may even be enough, but no time in jail for rape is an outrage.

This is disgraceful, he should be behind bars. What was this judge thinking. The female teacher in Bountiful was sentenced to 5 years to life in prison for sexual with a 13/14 year old boy and another female teacher is awaiting trial for a sexual relationship with the same boy. There is no justice. All teachers who violate the student/teacher relationship should spend time in prison. This was rape because of the age of the girl.

One thing I don't understand is why everyone is all about jail time, it's a proven fact that going to jail doesn't help. Get the kid some counseling so that he learn how to deal with this rather than slamming the door shut and making matters worse. Make jail time for 2nd and 3rd offenses (ect....) when it's obvious that he would rather soil his royal oats than being a good member of society.
The kid is 20, has a lot to learn in this life and that is what it's all about.

people are so quick to jump to conclusions. There's more to this story than has been reported. This situation was not what most people are making it out to be.
