What's worse? This late night cable show or Jay Leno making sex jokes and using terms that 10 years ago were considered swearing, all during prime time. I understood Leno's crude humor after the 10:00 news, but before the news when many more kids are still awake doesn't make sense to me.

I'm always astonished at the lengths to which people will go while exploiting children. The ones I'm most surprised at are the parents. Who would want children to hear terms that will sexualize them for life?

This is degrading, and a lot of people involved ought to be ashamed of themselves! Using children in this filth is unconscionable. I bet the writers and producers don't have any children...they are probably all into pornography themselves and obviously are devoid of any feeling.

The problem with this show is that it represents everything that is wrong with the modern entertainment industry: gratuitous nudity, indiscriminate sex, and violence committed simply for the sake of violence. Indeed, the difference between modern and traditional television is striking. Whereas traditional television promoted positive values such as honesty, loyalty, and respect for others, the modern version promotes dishonesty, greed, and every type of immorality. With modern Hollywood's relentless promotion of these evils, it is no wonder that modern society is such a mess.

I am very disturbed by the hate speech going on here in this forum. Who thought that true red blooded Americans would object to a show embracing everything that is envied about our great culture. If you want to avoid the taboo topic of sex and cursing, feel free to move to the Middle East where that sort of this is frowned upon. But as long as you live here, quit your whining and enjoy the quality programming.

These guys look like losers. Why is this program being aired anyway.

It's.nice to see that there is actually some content that will offend Pierce. Unfortunately, he implies that if the show were at least funny, he wouldn't have such a problem with it. So, is it the content or the lack of humor that bugs you the most, Scott?

Your review is dead wrong. I don't understand why all the reviews I'm reading consider this show a failure? In fact I wonder if any of the reviewers out there on the internet even watched the show or if they all got together to decide to try and sink The League(?). Or, yet again, maybe all the reviewers have no connection with real life? It was hilarious. FX has been known for it's envelope pushing (nip/tuck?) and I don't even consider it that bad. Poor review in my opinion, the show has legs -- maybe a bit trashy, but it's 100 times better than pretty much all television on between 6am and 9pm. Granted, TV nowadays is garbage, but this is one of those shiny hambones amongst the putrid rubble.

This show is the best thing that has ever happened to me, except for winning my fantasy league last year. I sat and watched the whole show and didn't stop laughing. This is right on with the guys in my league. Even my wife liked the show die to its almost (midwest) entourage/sex and the city appeal the five guys give off. It talks about fantasy football but it also develops the characters. This show is not for the innocent but it is for the 35 million of us who manage a fantasy team. This review is wrong. I will be watching next Thursday at 10:30. I also found a sneak peak of taco's next song on hulu.com. If you liked the show check it out. I hope this goes at least another couple seasons.
