where in this article does it say PC beat Grantsville last time they played?
Again, bloggers trying to stir up resentment and controversy. And the reason PC
played their playoff games in '03 & '04 at S Summit is because the
PC grass field was unplayable due to the weather up here, not to get ready to
play on the U turf. Don't make stuff up to make yourself feel good and
insult another team!

The "Last Meeting" stat listed is incorrect. My son was playing on
the team in 2003 when these two teams met in the first round(not 2004) and
tipped a Park City pass at the line of scrimmage, intercepted the ball and ran
for a touchdown, outrunning the best runner Park City had. Grantsville won 12-7.
The game was played at South Summit H.S. on the new artifical turf.

Just ask how JD did with that D-fence!!! and ask PC how that felt getting
stopped? and limmited to 14 total points for the whole game!!! Cowboys can make

Grantsville has no chance in this game. Park City will move to 2nd round, but I
don't think they will win state. Not because they don't have the
talent, but I just think Juan Diego is a better team.
Also after watching Park City play this year it seems like they get away with Fault Starts alot.

and not stop the PC rushers. Park City will have 500 yards rushing and the 35
point mercy rule will be in effect in the second half. See you next year

Honestly, who cares about 3A? You need to be at least 4A to see some quality
football. By the way, PC should be 4A. I believe they are just one student
short of being 4A by enrollement, maybe that's why you are seeing the
scores so lopsided...

What is PC's enrollment? Why are they still 3A? For that matter why is JD
still 3A? If you can recruit from a population of a million?
I hope PC beats JD in championship. Little doubt that they'll meet there. But I'd also like to see some of these hometown underdog teams upset one of the two powerhouses. I saw PC play this year and they are as put together as any team I have seen.

I know Grantsville is 3-6 and Park City is 9-1, but Grantsville vs Parl City has
been a bigger rivalry game than most people think. In '03 no one would have
given us a shot against Park City. They had already trounced by a score of
something like 37-7 during the regular season.
This season is is a similar match-up. It's prime! The Park City coach knows his school's history of play off disappointment after a stellar regular season. But I think those kids a a little more confident. That's happens in games like this when an upset is in the works.
It is going to be a battle! Those Grantsville Seniors don't want this to be the end of their season. The underclassmen will play the same way. :D

This years Park City team has some of the fastest kids, best hands, and kick
butt line men. The line is whats going to stop gville, look out for 60 gville.
he'll put you on a stretcher if your not careful. 8 can't be touched,
and 5 never quits. the defense it thick. And everyone needs to stop comparing
stats from, what was it 6 years ago?. Its a new year, Different kids, different
coach, better team. GO PC!

This game has nothing to do with the game in 2003 or whenever. It's not the
same players and it's not the same coach. I was at that game in 2003 and
this Park City team is not even comparable to that team. This team is ruthless
and when they get you down they finish you off quickly. Grantsville won't
have to worry about being in the game in the fourth quarter. If they are in it
after the first quarter I will be surprised. The Grantsville bus driver better
keep the bus warm because it will be a quick game. The clock will be running
the entire second half because of the 35 point mercy rule.

Not even a competetion. Park City wins big. Hopefully Coach Matich calls off the
dogs before the score gets out of hand. Another ALA type score would be hard to

park city is the best team in 3A and they are going to beat hurricane in the
semis and then upset juan diego in state park city is the best and they are
going to win state, there RB is unstoppable and is going to rock the scoreboard
he already has 30 rushing tds this season and over 1900 yards
