Good luck Bulldogs!! Not a bad year considering theres are about seven seniors on the team and not having your field for the second year in a row.
Lets win a couple for these outgoing seniors and build for next year.

Sounds like Anonymous is already making excuses for the Judge Bulldogs! Who cares how many seniors are on the team? Delta lost 18 of 22 starters from last years team - Wa Wa! Line it up and let's play some football.

Can you read entire paragraphs? I believe I said, "Lets win a couple of these."
That would be me asking the team to win a couple of playoff games. I am sure the education level is not the same in Delta but please read the entire post before commenting.

Of all the region 12 teams, Delta is the hard one to beat! They play solid and will capitalize on any mistakes. Good luck to all the region 12 playoff teams!!

Delta is solid.. capable of beating good teams. Hope they make it through. Good luck rabbits.

No excuses here. Also, none of the seniors on this year's team were bone fide starters last year, and only a couple of them saw a considerable amount of PT.
This year's squad has that small number of seniors, but has been predominately and will be "lining up" with a sophomore and junior-laden team.... and getting better with each passing week.

At least Delta is a true 3A team with kids that live in our boundries, not a school that can recruit from everywhere, offer scholarships and pick and choose their studentbody. Love life in a small town. Good Luck Rabbits.

If you look at the numbers of students... region 12 is the only region with true 3A numbers. Maybe that is why the games are close and good!! They really needed to lower the number of student body for 4A since they did it to 3A...it has to work both ways...but it looks like only a few 2As had to jump to 3, yet the 3A schools with a high student body did not have to make the move to 4A... ??? Until the numbers are more fair it will take a super special team from the small schools to make a run at a title. Good Luck to all region 12 teams!!

Here we go with the recruiting high school students ... again! JM is a 3-A school in every aspect of the word.
You choose to live in Delta, we choose to live in the Salt Lake Valley and go to the best school of our choice. Get over yourselves and an excuse why your team will not beat another "3-A " team. Either you bring your best effort like JM will... or , like now, why your making excusses why your going to loose a game.
I know for a fact that everyone is welcome to attend JM or JD. They are great schools and offer us to think outside the small towm box and expand to think differntly.

The only real problem is with the numbers. Most small town 3As have arouond 400 students....yet the student body can get to 1,000 and still be 3A. That is so NOT your fault but the fact remains it is not FAIR! Only private schools can be 3A in the city...and I would be right there with you if I lived up there....too many kids together in a big school is way too scary for me!!! but the truth remains....there is is HUGE number difference in 3A!!

GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are only a 160 seniors at judge, I wouldn't say that there a really big 3A school
The Official | 11:21 a.m. Oct. 29, 2009
According to UHSAA, this is the student body population of some of the 3-A schools in grades 10-12
Ben Lomond-1009 Juab-467
Cedar-766 PC - 983
Bear River-929 Morgan - 537
Judge- 578 Manti - 431
JD- 602 Wasatch- 906
Delta-443 Grantsville- 841
Hurricane-837 Carbon- 706

The measure of a school is not how many play in sports as a team, but how well the players play as a team.
Quit making excusses why you may not win a game, if you do, your already defeated. JD Soaring Eagle!!!!

According to State records, Delta High School has an enrollment of 671 students, not unlike most "small town 3A's". Not a "HUGE" number difference.

I grew up in Delta, played football there and we took state as one of the smallest 3A schools in the state but that never mattered to us as players. We still put 11 on the field just like everyone else. The difference was we were taught how to work hard and push through tough times and adversity. My guess is that these posts about numbers are not from Delta players but from people around the community or even other places in the state. Is there a big discrepancy in some of the 3A numbers, sure, but everyone needs to stop making such a big deal about it and just step up and play. GOOD LUCK RABBITS!!!

In a tight low scoring game I like the home team to come out with the W. Delta 14 Judge 7

About a million years ago I went to Judge, played football there and we took State as one of the smallest 3A schools. I wholly agree with "Former Rabbit", heart and guts go a long way in determining the victor at this level. GOOD LUCK `DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!

The numbers for alignment are based on grades 10-12. Delta has 443 in grades 10-12. The difference in not the numbers, but the where the numbers come from and who the numbers are. If the privates had a boundary like the rural 3-A schools, they would have up and down years just like the rest of us. If Delta, Millard and Juab combined, for example, to form an "All-Star" team, You can bet the privates wouldn't know what hit them. And the total number of students would fall in 3-A numbers. We take the kids we have and put together a decent team year in and year out. I'll take community pride and an occasional championship over an All-Star team any time. BTW, Judge and Juan Diego, thanks for always reminding us rural schools of your superior intelligence.

straight facts | 3:01 p.m. Oct. 29, 2009
154 sophomores + 173 juniors + 164 seniors = 491 students; (your math, or at least your numbers, are "fuzzy".)
