The Jazz showed some heart tonight. I thought they were the better team all night. It was concerning to only be up by 6 at Halftime. Devon had a turnover, and then proceeded to foul the guy who scored on a layup. However, Devon had a pretty focused look tonight and played pretty good. Memphis got hot to start the 3rd Quarter and then the Jazz could have wilted. Corbin at the next Time Out yelled at the guys to pick up and match Memphis intensity. It worked, the guys listened. The Grizzlies scored like 5 Points in the last 5 Minutes of the 3rd. The Jazz took control again. Lots of reasons why. Many Heroes. Gordon 23 and well diversified Offensive Game. Paul and AJ at times failed to box out but came through. AL had a good overall game. Paul scored 8 in the 3rd. CJ got hot in the 4th to help. Favors and Kanter did well together again, Boards, D and some scoring. Earl had 5 Assists and "0" TOS

Jazz played hard tonight. They need to do better on the boards. Memphis had 18 offensive boards and had they converted some of those into more points we would have lost this game. The bench also needs to score more. 20 points under their season average tonight. We are going to need them to contribute lots in this back-to-back-to-back stretch. Her's to hoping we can go 2 for 3 on this trip.
