So is the baby OK? I hope they do not let the girl keep it! Also, how does slapping and biting someone cause an abortion? Or was that part just for the fun of it?

I believe the state took custody, also i believe she said she was attacked or something like that but I am not positive.
What about the girl? | 4:46 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
If she offered him money to kill the unborn child, isn't that the same as a contract killing? Isn't she going to have to face charges also?

Good Kid went bad? | 5:09 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
Do good children go bad, three days after they move out of the house? Denial is not a river in Africa.

Why blame anything on bad friends or any other reason. This young man made his own very poor choices, not the choices of someone I would describe as a "good kid".

Thanks, John.

I feel that as long as the child is taken care of and placed in the best possible enviornment for the child to grow up in is mainly all that matters. If the mother and man are both contributing factors they should both be charged for child endangerment as well as some other charges I am sure could be slapped on to it!

The girl was let off without any penalty if I remember correctly.

So sorry this has happened. I have a son who has spent the past 16 years in prison for something he did while he was high on meth. He had just turned 18, had graduated and went to work earning more money than he knew what to do with. We lived in Nevada, and he was spending his money on prostitutes and drugs, and new clothes. He ran out of money a few days before payday, and tried to rob some people to get drug money. They didn't have any, so he assaulted them. He remembers little of what happened. He is now 34, has grown up to become a responsible man, within the limitations of his situation. He is working (for 25 cents an hour), has taken all the AA, NA, and other types of classes available, and has gone to college when he's had the money to do it. Contrary to public opinion, college and medical care for inmates are not freebies. I hope your son will benefit from the time he spends in prison. It is very important for you to keep in touch with him and be supportive of his efforts. Best wishes!

that if a doctor performs the abortion it is leagal but what he did was illegal and he is going to jail. There shouldn't be a double standard. Either way the result is the same, expect for certain cricumstances, doctors should be held to the same standard.

The girl 7 months pregnant was not charged, but what about the baby? She was trying to kill a living baby. Does anyone know how wrong that is? Abortion is murder.

Despicable.

NOWHERE -- I REPEAT -- NOWHERE in any of these news articles (all of them, not just THIS one!) regarding heinous and atrocious criminal acts, do I remember reading about the mother or father saying, "I can't understand where he went wrong -- we took him to church, we had prayers in the home, we had Bible/scripture study, we tried to instill moral judgment in him, we tried to be good examples, etc. PARENTS -- YOU ARE NOT DOING YOUR JOBS -- THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THIS WHOLE WIDE WORLD. YOUR KIDS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE SUFFERING AND INFLICTING SUFFERING AND PAIN ON OTHER PEOPLE. YOU SHOULD BE SHARING YOUR KID'S JAIL/PRISON TIME!

Abortion isnt murder, the actions he took in trying to abort this baby were by far illegal, the mother of the child should face charges and maybe will soon. hopefully.

You think he would have thought about his 16 year old pregnant fiance and their baby when he was doing this to her. What if she went to some guy to have him kill their baby, what would he have thought? Now she's alone 7 months preg and hurting knowing that her baby's dad is going to be in prison for most of its childhood. She has to finish school, find a job, and raise a baby all alone thanks to Arron and the girl's actions. I hope they both think about that for the rest of their lives.
