Gary should run for mayor! What a group of stud athletes he is getting. Kids from Hawaii and Florida! Wow and early as well. Keep em coming Gary!

so what is the prognosis of Nick Wolford the Alta lb who is a jr and led the team in tackles? I've heard he's been conctacted by several big programs, but think USU would be a great spot for him to play.
Growing | 3:17 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
Growing class but a lot of lightly recruited kids. Hopefully they have the work ethic to make up for lack of talent.

The whole secret is getting the "lightly recruited" as you put it before their exposed. Alot of the heavy recruited kids have the "Publicists",parents and media that are throwing them into the lime-light. I think that a coach knows what he needs for the program and will go after it regardless of being heavily recruited.

Great job Aggie coaches. You're finding them!
It started last year. | 4:34 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
When Andersen went after 6 top athletes in the state that shared his vision of showing UT players what he was going to do and do it. 6 more this year are also exceptional athletes that are willing to contribute and make a difference. I would rather be on a program that is on the rise than falling.

I have never seen so many UT HS recruits so excited about USU football. Too bad he limits it to only around 6 each year.

Who always wants the Aggies to do well! Nice work Coach Anderson!

Between Gary and Bronco there will be nothing left for Kyle and his boys to get. Can you see the titanicute going down or what?
Re:UTE | 10:10 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
You know I am a die hard Aggie fan and I must say that I like the Utes. When they play I always am very happy to see them win. Why? Comments like the post above. On the flip side all BYU fans dish out from their insecure mouths are insults, speaks volume about the fan base.

I am hyped about the recruits that Gary is bringing, true true, we can only go up.

The significance of this stuff is way overrated. These are not highly recruited national athletes. From what I can see, the Aggies are getting more Utah kids, but not necessarily any better athletes than they've ever had. It's just being publicized more.
Go to play | 10:41 p.m. Oct. 27, 2009
Boise State has 20 Idaho players on the roster. 6 per year = 24 total.

Exceptional athletes should go to a school where they can actually play!

Several of my high school friends signed with major schools and sat the bench for 3 to 4 years. What a waste of time!

They should have signed with the mid majors for a better chance to play and eventually produce some stats that might give them a shot at the next level.

You dance you got a chance.

We will see what this translates into on the field over the next few years. Until then I have no reason to expect anything more or less that what we have gotten over the past 5 years.

Coaches at every school watch thousands of hours of tape on H.S. and J.C. College kids. It's not tough to evaluate the 3 and 4 star kids that every program fights over (many times those kids don't live up to the hype) On paper USU coaches are doing a great job of filling position voids with kids that look like they have great potential and that's the gamble in recruiting. Coach Andersen and all his staff know how to develop kids in the class room, weight room, community and with football smarts. Looks like some great recruits to me keep it up. I'll take hard working kids who love football any day just wait and see.

The recruits are getting attention because they stand out on their teams. Teams that as a whole are being well coached and seeing success. For many years Utah has been so under exposed in the HS evaluation and recruiting area. I've watched the Highly exposed BYU QB commit play a few games last year and this year as well and I would put either of the QB's that Andersen got out of Utah this year and last year right in there with him.

Mayor? I'd vote for him for President!
