Thats great news because I am currently unemployed and hopefully I will be able to land back on my feet before I get this extension.
utah . is not the only state hurting. i live in georgia and have been unemployed for over a year and have exashulted all my benefits . im hurting. no work,no income, cant pay my bills, or eat. we need help. TODAY, RIGHT AWAY. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS,PLEASE. NO WORK,NO INCOME ,DONT EAT, NO ECONOMY . ACTION IS NEEDED NOW FOR ALL STATES. WE NEED THIS UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENTION NOW. THANKS.
My unemployment ran out in September. They had to wait until October to get the unemployment numbers that would reach 6%. They told me it would be retro active, but now they say it will not be in effect until Nov. 8. That will not help me for the month I did not receive any money. It should be retro, as September was the month it was high unemployment. This is not fair as they aren't paying people for the 5 weeks they should be eligible for.
