It's kind of funny that TCU only converted three times on third down, but then was gifted several by horrible calls. I didn't really see the roughing the passer at the game (and with Vs. horrible camera crew I doubt anyone else did) but on the replay it looked like Hooks was only a step away and running at full speed when Dalton threw the ball. Seemed like a questionable call at best. The Logan PI, on the other hand, was a complete sham. Even worse was a later PI called away from the ball (shouldn't that technically be holding when it's not involved in the play???) The TCU defenders were all over BYU's receivers and so the one-sided officiating was definitely frustrating. Horrible officiating. I'm sure the Yewts will get the same treatment as the MWC officials favor the BCS darling so have fun with that.

In the end, at best, the awful officiating probably cost BYU a meaningless 4th quarter TD and gave TCU 10-14 points. So regardless the better team clearly won and the officials didn't affect the outcome, but they were still awful.

Unga rushed for 123. He could have rushed for 100 more. Had the Cougars not given up on the running game, they would have controlled the ball, scored more often and had a shot to win this one in the 4th quarter. Stick with what works, Cougars.

You come off cheap and pedestrian complaining about the officials when you got manhandled all night long.

Bronco claimed the Cougars had the best week of practice in his time at the Y. If the best week of practice produces 38-7 shellackings, then please, go back to having average practices and getting beat by average scores.
