Brad Rock: Utes (yawn!) are back in the bowl business

Also, Rock: Utah wins its bowl games. Do some reading, mmmkay?
The boring game played yesterday in the state was not played in Salt Lake. Nor was it played in Logan or Cedar City, for that matter. The game in Provo, however, quickly became a boring game.
Hey Brad Rock, in case you didn't realize it, THE UTES WON!!
You'll get to more bowl games by winning all your games by less than 5 points, than you will by beating 1/2 your opponents by 20+ points and losing 2 games by 20+ points.
At the end of the season they don't give style points for how badly you beat the UNLV's and SDSU's of the world.
They give credit for beating good teams, regardless the score.
Go Utes!
Oh and PS keep ur eyes open for the basketball team comin up in a few weeks here. They have a quality schedule with a young team that has tremendous upside.
Once again Go Utes!! All day every day.
The whole bowl system sucks. Bring on a playoff.
AFA vs TCU, TCU wins by 3
UofU vs AFA, UofU wins by 7
BYU vs AFA, ?
Please stop criticizing the UofU vs AFA 7 pt win in OT. The criticism is due to one of the following:
1. You're looking for some comfort in your loss
2. You're ignoring the fact that AFA almost beat TCU
3. You're wishing that you were in Utah's shoes
Otherwise, just give it up!!! Go Utes!!!
BYU chooses size over speed and grass over turf. Teams with athletic defenses like TCU, Utah and Florida State will always give BYU fits until they choose to change their recruiting priorities.
I laugh at the excuses I've heard this weekend regarding the lack of athletes being able to live the honor code at the Y, limiting Bronco's ability to recruit. Are you kidding?!?! There are plenty of young men willing to live the honor code that are fast and athletic. BYU CHOOSES TO BE BIG AND SLOW. The decision to choose natural grass over a faster artifical turf confirms it. Fast athletes prefer to play for a school with rubberized synthetic turf.
Go Utes!
Find a way to win, that is what Utah is doing right now. Their offense is struggling, but unlike BYU they have a defense that keeps them in games. If Cain can figure things out this year, watch out. I would absolutly count on a loss for Utah at TCU as of today, but we all know the Utes get up for big games, unlike TDS, so lets hope they can find another way to win an ugly, boring game in Forth Worth!
Pretty wins versus bad teams are BYU's style, just like embarrassing losses versus good teams are!
(That is assuming that TCU goes to a BCS bowl) I would rather see BYU fans get embarassed AGAIN by a angry BSU team and Utah beat a respectable PAC 10 team than Utah end their incredible bowl win streak to Bosie State.
