BYU football: TCU still has a couple of hurdles en route to BCS

Why not 2 non BCS teams in BCS bowls? Gaurantee that both TCU and BSU would destroy any team out of the Big Least, in fact BYU or Utah would probally do the same. And BSU or TCU would give any other so called big boy a heck of a fight if not beat them. BSU dominated the Pac 10 leading Ducks.

I would love to see TCU VS BSU in the Fiesta bowl. That game last year in SanDeigo was the highest viewed Non BCS bowl.

Just last week Rivals was projecting two Non qualifying teams, both TCU and Boise. Perhaps Magic will happen!

utah is going to get SPANKED!!!! the ute offense is worse than the cougs. the TCU defense is 10 times better than the Ute defense. watch out. especially in fort worth...remember the game last year that the refs stole from TCU and the kicker missed some chip shots? not going to happen in BSC busting territory. just like the cougs got robbed (defensive pass interference when nobody touched the ute reciever) in favor of the utes the utes will now face the same referee bias at TCU. it's all about the MWC. TCU will likely play for the national championship should they run the table.

If TCU and BSU win out and they should, the BCS will be hard pressed to leave either team out of the mix. If not, maybe Congress will choose to get more involved.

No, nobody left on their schedule will even challenge TCU. They are that good. And, they would clobber Boise State in a head to head battle.

Byu needs to create a new conference made up of really small schools no one has heard of. Then they can be conference champs in a really good year.

How do you Cougar fans come up with the idea that TCU would clobber BSU? BSU had the youngest team in the country when it went up against TCU last year and only lost by 1 point due to a missed field goal down the stretch and a terrible series on defense to close out the first half. It was 13-3 BSU up to that point. Even if TCU did beat BSU I garuntee that it wouldnt be by more than a touchdown.

Give credit were its due BSU has passed BYU by with better players, recruits, and coaching. Are you Cougar fans just that jelous of our success that you have to pull crazy statements out of the air.

Cant wait until 2012 when you get hammered by the Broncos again!

No serious MWC fan should care about what Boise State does the rest of the season. TCU will go undefeated and If the teams ahead don't pull their acts together, TCU has a chance of being the FIRST non-qualifying school to play for the national championship. All of the first 5 have looked vulnerable more than once during the season. Lets keep focused on TCU and forget about the Smurfs.

...and all you other Zoob fans. Your ignorance is showing!! First of all compare common opponents and we see that Air Force went to Fort Worth to play TCU and gave them all they wanted in a 21-14 TCU win. A week later the same AFA team took Utah to overtime. AFA is the 3rd best team in the MWC this year. While Utah may not beat TCU it will be a close game. A game Utah can win, a game BYU couldn't even hang close in!!!
