Congratulations to the Lady Jayhawks for a great season and for playing with a lot of heart even when your injured and sick.
Continue to play hard with schools that are twice your size and show that a 1A school can play up at the 2A level and compete with the 2008 3A Champs.

We will be looking for you in the finals again next year!!!

I have to hear time and time again how great St. Joes sports teams are and it's just not the case. First, they can recrute kids! Second, they are arrogant and run the score up against every team they can. Third, they are just not very athletic when compared to others as individuals. Yes, you have a few top notch players, but beyond that, nothing! Look at the cross coutry times. Alex Shaw would have taken 13th in 4A and 15th in 5A, while in the weak 1A she takes 1st. Don't tell me that being a 1A small school means you can't run as fast. Chavez would have taken 33rd in 4A and 37th in 5A. DeHaan would have been 39th in 4A and 45th in 5A.

I agree. Private schools need to have their own division. They are a different animal entirely, than are public schools. Congrats to Waterford though.
