Fesenko's numbers have been very good ones. The young guy needs to play. He can be huge for the Jazz. He can easily be one of the shotblocking leaders of the leage, and he can contribute in multiple ways. I hope Coach give him some decent minutes this season. He will get more comfortable and control his PF just with playing time.

funny line about redshirting by Jer. Good job. We should have a good season, the talent level is better than one year ago, there will be rocky times but if the bigs play like bigs, intimidate play help d and board once in awhile, we will get the needed stops.

Memory Lane: I want to get back to the old days. All of you Jazz historians: Remember the 80s, 90s and even early part of decade, when we were on the road in a tight game, we would get the stops down the stretch when needed, focus on the d and we would win usually.,

Let us see that in 2009-2010

todd: How is our talent level better than last year? We're subtracting Harpring and adding Maynor. That's it. It's the same team...we will win close games at home, get blown out on the road, and constantly have trouble with defense and outside shooting. The same personnel and coaching will not lead to changes, I'm afraid.

Brewer continue hot shooting? | 10:38 a.m. Oct. 25, 2009
Sure.

There will be peace in the middle east tomorrow as well.

the changes are minimal, i have expressed the need this team could have traded Boozer in my opinion if you had a creative GM. I was upset also we did not acquire a veteran experienced big man. Maynor will help the Jazz (would you rather have Brevin Knight) his shot is erratic but he makes plays and is a winner. Jerry eventually when he trusts the kid, DWIL could maybe only have to play at most 35 minutes a game. So that is an upgrade. ALso, Matthews can shoot and can play. He could have an impact as well. This flexibility when injured players come back could mean Brewer can play some #3 which is better because of tha erratic shot. Also if Koustos and Fez continue to improve basically Fez takes Collins minutes (would you rather have Collins).

I have never cared for ANdre Miller, I do not see him turning Portland to the promised land.

Denver did el zilcho no better than us and lost Kleisma, Ty Lawson will help as backup point to Chauncy but likely will play little as a rookie. Anthony Carter I guess resigned but he is a weak link

We can do this

Our greatest hurdle this year is the same as any other since Malone and Stockton left and that is consistency of play on the defense. Our 2 guard spot is a weak link and our inside is open... Because we have a shooting center and a soft PF. In the old days Tag and Eaton were a laughing stock when it came to scoring but a clog in the middle. This year will hang on two things. How well the defense at the 2 and what happens in the middle.

Players mature. Jazz have one of the youngest rosters in the NBA. These young guys will be better this yer than last and before the injuries started piling up they were pretty good last year.

More maturity and better chemistry will make a difference this year.
