FIRE BRONCO! | 7:23 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Fire Bronco. I've had enough.

Make it 31-7 on national TV...the MARQUIS GAME OF THE DAY. The BYU Cougars get DRILLED!

Did you see Hicks outrun our defensive secondary? Speed KILLS BYU!

TCU has taken the BYU crowd right out of the game. We could sure take a lesson from the Utah fans.
Disappointed! | 7:35 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Cougars are horrible! They don't deserve to be ranked, let alone play in any post season bowl game. Sorry, but what an embarrassment.
Hold on... | 7:35 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
31 to 7. Dalton has already thrown 3 touch downs. So so slow.

BYU's past 5 losses came at the hands of Arizona, FSU, Utah and now to TCU for the second time. All have extemely quick players. Hall has happy feet again and is hit even when he throws the ball. I can't wait to smack around some more cougars. A spanking in progress... I see fans clearing out already. Take the weights off your bellies BYU.

BYU is the most over rated team of all time. It doesn't matter who they play or how good they are they lack the drive to win.

What do these coaches do all week?
Anonymous | 7:39 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
If I were Utah I would be taking notes!!!
Make That 31-7 | 7:39 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
I posted this morn on you two schools (ewet's & wonderful ones), now how big chested are you? It's Las Vegas & maybe San Diego for you two, and will be for a long, long, long time! Pathetic rhetoric is all you are about at both rinky dink schools. Reality means nothing to either school, so just dream on.
LouisD | 7:40 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Once again and like many years in the past, BYU has succeeded in making an a goodoffensive team look better than it is. The problem is, BYU's defense came out with the same BAD non-attacking scheme that wins against average teams but ALWAYS LOOSES when playing top ranked opponents. Not going for it on 4th and 2 at the TCU 49 was also a mistake. Bronco psychologically told his players they aren't good enough and he didn't trust them. BYU's coaching staff is simply making enormous game plan and execution mistakes and it has to end. 10-2 seasons are fine when the wins come against top flight programs, but losing this way to TCU again is unforgivable. BRONCO, you need accountability among your defensive coaches. It's inexcusable. If BYU was a fortune 25 company and its managers performed this badly against FSU and TCU they would be fired.
no passion | 7:43 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
how can you not get up for big games. Again poor execution and the looked confused and lost out there. Max can't make a play to save his life. There is usually a man open but he just does not see the field.
TCU Alumnus | 7:44 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Way to go Horned Frogs. Sorry BYU....

re: No Spirit | 7:35 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009

What do you mean no Spirit? Do you mean banners @ LES aren't worth what it costs to print them?
Johnnydepp | 7:45 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
So calling for the firing and shake up of BYU's defensive coaches isn't enough 'eh. TCU is not defeating BYU w/Speed. TCU hasn't done squat when BYU pressed and rushed 5. This is another case of BYU's defensive coaches calling an extremely bad game plan.
Get Rid of Football | 7:49 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Tired of being disappointed. I would rather not have FB than have to watch any more of this madness.
Dalton .. | 7:52 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
will be the better professional. He doesn't make mistakes and has more poise. He also has more time to throw the ball. Hall can't focus. 38-7
Oh no! | 7:53 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Overated. Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap!
Utah | 7:54 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
will have their hands full but there is no way they will be man-handled like is happening now 38-7. Embarassing loss for BYU
AZ Dave | 7:55 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Let the excuses and blames begin
Speed Kills | 7:55 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
We've been saying it for months. BYU's lack of speed and discipline will cost them the game. WOW!
Y | 7:55 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
I guess no BCS game or NC this year for us. I am assuing the LV bowl again but the buffet at Bellagio is quite good
It is | 7:58 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
so good to see Max is back!!! Picks and fumbles....Heisman yeah right!
Anonymous | 7:58 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
12:00 left in the game and Versus just panned the stadium...at least 25% of the fans are GONE!!

HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over Rated | 7:59 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Lee Corso was right- TCU all the way.

You still have the Utes and maybe a trip to some low level bowl game where you will lose as well.

OVER RATED
Out of the top 25 for good.

Amen brother

OK, a possible solution. Several good high school programs have sports psych departments that teach performance pressure, leadership, focus, and relaxation. Get the skill guys to just 'audit' a few weeks in one of those. Heck (or fetch), Bingham has one. Just one letter difference, the school colors are the same, they'd feel right at home!
Anonymous | 8:00 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Obviously BYU's win over Oklahoma was a fluke and going down to the airport to celebrate on the Sabbath was a really bad idea.
Anonymous | 8:00 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
I watched Utah and Air Force today and I'm seeing TCU's players run all over the field. BYU's players need to lose some weight.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA | 8:02 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
BYU is the definition of "Over-rated". Remember the "National Chapionship" plans cougar fans had before the Florida State game.

The problem is that the cougars start to believe their own hype. The y is a good team, it has not shown any signs of being a great team since the good old Lavel days. The y has no business being in the top 25 period.
Pour It On TCU | 8:02 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Now 38-7 and adding! Just what the load mouths deserve! Make sure you show up on this web page this next week "Wonderful ones", I'm looking forward to your pathetic excuses!
Anonymous | 8:03 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
BYU's lack of heart is stunning. Kyle Whittingham didn't want to coach BYU because he would have had to give up his heart.
Complain | 8:06 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Complain about what you want, but TCU is just the better team. BYU is losing to the better team. BYU is a good team, TCU is a great team.

Go Horned Frogs! Go and bust the BCS.
Anonymous | 8:08 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Stands are clearing out...bunch of fair weather band wagon BYU fans! Can't get home fast enough.

I am going to the grocery store to get a brown paper sack for my head.
BYU is | 8:11 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
OVERRATED!!! bawahahahahaha
Ute4Life | 8:11 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
To all of the intelligent y fans that have had good things to say about the Utes and are realistic about their own team before the season and up til now... I feel for ya. That's a tough game to swallow.

To the ignorant y fans that were predicting a 7-5 season or worse for Utah and that the y was bringing home a heisman winner and a National Championship... where you at now? You're probably not even reading these articles let alone the comments. But if you are... at least have manhood to eat some crow.
Anonymous | 8:13 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
TCU is now being accommodating and just keeping it on the ground with 5:00 left. That will keep the score in the 'reasonable' range and allow headlines to adequately explain the 'close' loss.
I ATE Cosmo | 8:17 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Near the 8 minute mark in the 4th quarter, BYU had 7 guys defending TCU's 4 lineman yet TCu still got pressure on Hall + a holding penalty. That's just sad. I feel sorry for BYU. But on the bright side, at least it's not a 40 point blowout.

re: Y | 7:55 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009

MGM is slightly cheaper and better than Bellagio. If you want to spend lots then go Mandalay Bay.

Rio is overrated.

My personal fave is the Luxor
54-28 and now 38-7 | 8:19 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Good teams don't get smocked at home.

I don't think that will ever happen to Utah today.
new coach | 8:19 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
dang, time for a change in provo
KSL Radio Comments | 8:23 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
In 2nd quarter: TCU was this sharp against Utah last year, but they only got field goals. TCU gave the game away on the hill last year.

Uh, TCU only scored 10 points last year at Utah. They were up 21-nothing in the SECOND QUARTER tonight!

At halftime: Utah was lucky to beat Air Force today.

At this point, I guess that's all they got on BYU broadcasts on KSL- try to criticize the Utes!!

War a one-loss Utah playing an undefeated TCU in November as see what happens!
TrueRed | 8:25 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Well boys----!!!-------------looks like another year where your coach and the fans did all their spewing.

Now, just one big THUD!!!!

Good night and sleep tight
NotCosmo | 8:26 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
If the cougies had half the heart of Air Force, it would have been a game - If CougarNation had some class, the exits wouldn't be jammed at the end of the third quarter.
Corso calls 'em as he sees 'em.
Superfrog.
byu #1 | 8:32 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
las vegas bowl here we come
JB | 8:33 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Wasn't it "I bleed blue" Mr Harmon who wrote an article after the OK game explaining how Bronco was correct that it's execution not speed that wins games? Execution is important, but speed along with execution will beat the Y 9 times out of 10.
Golly | 8:35 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Gosh darnet
Yikes | 8:37 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
The Corn Dogs are a great team and should be the MWC BCS busters this year. The Utes are just going to be another speed bump on the way to TCU's Conference Championship. The Y needs to recruit some faster D-backs. The current crew looks like they're wearing cement cleats
Anonymous | 8:38 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
High school sports psych departments teach focus, heart, and competitiveness. Gte the Cougs in to audit a class or two.
NevadaUTE | 8:39 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
Why do I keep hearing "Las Vegas here we come"? The Las Vegas Bowl is for the MWC CHAMPS!
TRUE BLUE | 8:39 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009
BYU actually has a better team than TCU, it is just that so many Cougar players were not feeling well. The Cougars will stop defeat Utah without any problem. GO COUGS!!

TCU cornerback Rafael Priest just misses the interception over Brigham Young wide receiver Brett Thompson as Brigham Young University and Texas Christian University played at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Saturday. The Horned Frogs beat the Cougars 38-7.
