um.. don't get this play-in game..
So does Brighton have to play Jordan again on Tuesday?
Duh
Great job Jordan!!! Lets do it again on Tuesday.
Jordan's defense had a great game. I think the D should get the game ball. Best defensive game all year.
Kudos to Jordan's defensive backs! You guys played great!
It's nice Hart could get his D-1 offer, but any of the top QB's in the state could throwing 50 times per game. It's getting old listening to Jordan fan defend their QB like he's the only QB that could lead the state in passing. Jordan's O-Line is way above average and they have great receivers. Jordan has chosen to load their offense with talent and it has hurt their defense.
Hart is a very good QB but his stats would be just average if they ran the ball 40-80% of the time like most high schools. Good luck Tuesday! You guys will roll Brighton again.
Yes. Brighton will play Jordan once again Tuesday at Hillcrest High. The winner will advance into the 5A playoffs to take on Bingham in the opening round.
both of these teams will roll the miners
Play-ins are rediculous. Jordan beat brighton head to head. yea their region records are the same yet head to head jordan won. If it was a three way tigh i could see an issue. The sad thing is now jordan or brighton will have 2 days to prep for Bingham. hardly seems fair.
The play - in game is because a state rule says "A team cannot be eliminated from state tournament play in the last seed of a region if there is a tie".
sorry would have figured whoever WON the game would be in with similar records.
heck ya lets go do it again
h
I don't mind the play-in game. If you want to avoid them, win, don't make the play-in an issue.
I saw the game, Brighton should line up in the I, and pound it down Jordans throat.
To "Anonymous" above, Jordan or Brighton will have 3 days to prepare, because playoff games involving a play-in winner are played on Saturday.

"Play-ins are rediculous. Jordan beat brighton head to head. yea their region records are the same yet head to head jordan won."
NO, this is really the only fair way to do it. Yea Jordan won head-to-head, but Brighton did hand the region champion (Alta - or region co-champion who got the #1 seed) their only region loss. Had they tied and both would still make the playoffs after the tiebreaker was applied, then they'd just use the tiebreaker. But if the tie breaker results with one team in and one out, you gotta play it.
The thing with 2 days to prepare for Bingham is just the unfortunate result of being in a tie for 4th place. Had Brighton won last night, they'd have a week to prepare. Or had Jordan pulled out a win against PG, LP, or Alta, they'd now have a week to prepare.
This just shows why the regular season is important. Bingham is being rewarded for taking care of business and Jordan/Brighton is being penalized for not doing so.
You must be a Jordan fan.
You're an idiot. Anyways, great win for Jordan last night. Hart was off a little but we got the win. Jordan defense, where have you been all year? You looked amazing! I was in shock with what I was watching last night. You do deserve the GAME BALL. Jodan take it one step at a time. Don't think that Tuesday will be the same team you faced last night. You need to play with the same intensity. Great win Jordan!
Great job Jordan Defense.. Hart and the boys came up big on some important plays - well down boys!
Its a matter of time before the Poachers get the boot
funny trying to play up a horrible defense. Brighton will rock em tuesday. If you didn't have such a horrible season (losing games) then you wouldn't need to cry on this board.
Who is defending our QB here? Better question - who needs too? Also, do you understand what a spread offense is? It's a passing offense specifically designed to throw the ball 40 - 50 times a game. Hart is playing (very well) within the teams offense, why is that concept so difficult for some of you to grasp? Everyone, everywhere is going to it, high school and college - are you unaware? Obviously a QB that throws a lot or a RB that has a lot of carries is going to have the bigger stats. That's simply a by-product of the offense the team runs. So if Hart is playing within the teams offense why do you feel compelled to ridicule? He's only doing what he's supposed to do. Great game Jordan, especially on D!
What a bunch of cry babies those bengals were! Just get out and play and stop your crying girls!
he is right on
first off... i'm sick of hearing about how jordan throws the ball everytime... HELLO we do and get over it! it makes the game more exciting and it puts a lot of points on the board... great job defense! you played excellent! now you guys just need to play the same way on tuesday! GET SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
