Great story! Thank you to the Gold star mothers for raising such golden soldiers that this country is indebted to. Thank you to the Iraqi women for being gracious for the sacrifices of the American GIs.

God bless, to both

Perhaps this is the way to reduce tension over our differences. We have the same basic needs and desires. I hope this effort expands. I hope we men can do the same thing. Great story!

Very touching story. As a mother of a member of the Air Force I believe these women are doing what is needed to bring understanding to our world. May we all learn to love so that our children may someday live in a world of peace.

The hand that rocks the cradle...rules the world. What a great event! I am so glad to see something like this taking place. I believe that as women and mothers we can put a human face on the conflicts around the world and unite to protect our children and strengthen the family. How can I help?

Beautiful story. Freeing the generative and creative power of the women of the middle east will have a profound effect on the future of the world. The American boys who died there did not die in vain. They knew it was worth it.

I know I'm going to get flamed but society would be more civilized if women were in charge.

I might have to agree with you to a point. Margaret Thatcher will go down in history as one of the greatest leaders of Great Britain. Benazir Bhutto, Corazon Aquino.......

I wish I could have been there. I wish I could have known about it. What's really interesting is that I don't see any comments about it being a useless and lost war on this post.

No one talked about politics, just wanting to heal with hugs. FUTURE is amazing to help us all.
