All year everyone underestimated you and you kept working....2009 STATE CHAMPIONS, MVP, ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM members! Noone can say otherwise for at least a year. Congrats to Bonn on a good year and a good game.
I was glad to see the article mention this...but still, I don't think many people realize what an impressive and amazing run it was for these T'Wolves to win the title without playing a single playoff game at home...to beat a #2 seed and 3 of the 5 #1 seeds (including the defending champ), that is AWESOME!
This title is a wonderful culmination of the hard work of the players on this years' team as well as the ground work laid by the THS teams that advanced to the 5A semis the past two seasons. There's definitely something to be said about being playoff tested.
Congrats Natty on a great win and a great championship run, you and your girls deserve it!
Amazing game! The whole team rocked tonight. Mckenzie was unstoppable. Congrats to the T-Wolves and all the fans who supported in huge numbers. Timpanogos girls are STATE CHAMPS!!!!!
The T-Wolf ladies did it in style! Huge congrats!
Congratulations to the T-Wolves! Yes, McKenzie was awesome. But, you've got to hand it to the DEFENSE as well. They stopped shot after shot and worked extremely hard to get the win.
Great game tired of hearing all the talk aboutt he teams up North, looks like the teams down South are doing just fine.
I have been to pro games and even seen Team USA play before but this game was the most intense soccer match I've seen by far.
Let's not get carried away people.
I guess sometimes it IS better to be lucky than good.
GREAT GAME TO WATCH!!
Congratulations to Timp for a state championship.
It's similar to Bonneville's run last season--no one
really saw it coming, but they beat the best of the best and can claim to be #1.

Now lets not get carried away and say "bonneville" here. the football team is taking it to state. and Bountiful is about to have their second loss..
its funny that you laugh at bonneville whos football team has made it to the second round of the state playoffs the last two years and is going for a third this year. also soccer making it to the state championship last two years, o and wait softball made it to the semifinals last year. dang sounds like Boneville is doing pretty good to me
The game should have gone into overtime, the last goal by timpanogas should have not counted, seconds before a Bonneville forward was tripped in the box while attempting to make a shot on the goal
Way to try to be a sore loser. There is nothing that shows the epitamy of poor sportsmanship more than to blame others for defeat or to try to re-write the ending on what you think should have happened. Congratulate the champions and move on. When soccer players go down, it's about 95% for the show. It's a contact sport! Please soccer fan, be a fan, not a fanatic.
To the Timpanogos Timberwolves Girls Soccer Team:
Well, done. I have followed your season with much anticipation to this moment. I knew that when I left, there was no doubt that this is where you'd be. Congrats Natalie for a job well done. Girls, I'm proud of you; you did it! Congrats, your former trainer.
I am a coach that has watched a lot of soccer. ANd for any Timp fan to thumb their nose at Bonn should be slapped awake. Bonn out played you the 85% of the game. The better team did not win, this is common in soccer. Bonn got the same break a week earlier against East but that play was a bit closer.
As far as calls the ref did ok (he was consistent but he did call a couple crap against Bonn)
Good game but not the best ever.
Im not Saying Bonneville should have won I am just saying the final goal for Timpanogas Should have never happened, and It should have gone into overtime, it could have played out any way after that, we dont know what would have happended.
Where did you coach, the pee wee league? unbiased??? I have coached high school, and club, and what I saw at the game was a Bonneville team getting away with alot of over the back headers, pulling, tripping, and pushing that did not get called. Was there some no calls that Timpanogos got away with, you bet. The only thing that was consistant was that the ref looked like a deer in headlights and swallowed his whistle. The fact is a foul is only a foul if it is called. Quit crying to your mom. The best team did win because they owned scoreboard. It was an exciting game. Congrats to both teams on a great season.
The Ref gave Timpanogas every chance he could, Bonneville Scored and they called it off sides when they were no where near off sides and I could not even count the number of hand balls he let Timpanogas get away with, I remember at least three in the box. And all the cheap shots after. The better team did not win
