One must remember that the aristocrat liberal is trying to rebirth himself as a conservative commoner. Never works. But Bennett does have the money, thanks to big banks and his son and daughter-in-laws' company Storyrock, to purchase the media blitz that will fool most of the people most of the time.

Three words:
Turn off Fox

Bush had "czars" as well. Where was the uproar then?

I cannot believe the fear-mongering that is happening right now among Republicans (especially those in conservative radio) in regards to presidential czars. Guess who started appointing czars in the first place? Ronald Reagan, the man who most conservatives hold up as the political ideal. This is a non-issue that is being used to frighten uneducated people who get their views of the world from shock jocks.

I don't even know what a czar is. It sure does sound scary though!

How many of you honestly know what they do?

Lets not forget Utah's own porn czar!

Paula Houston, “a proudly conservative 41-year-old” appointed by our own equally proud conservative governor Michael Leavitt in 2001.

He IS a HYPOCRITE, because he wants all of the big government in slightly different packages that Republicans push.

It doesn't mean he's wrong to oppose it, nor that we should accept the Czar's because the critics are hypocrites. It just means he's a bad spokesman for the correct position

"Bailout Bob" is trying the best he can to stay newsworthy until Utahns vote him out of office! No Bob, we don't like "bailouts" for your rich banker buddies, nor do we like your amnesty for illegals plans!!

What kind and how many Czars did Reagan, Bush, Bush2 have? And how many does Obama have and more importantly, WHY?

Matt, a czar is simply an informal (and probably ill-conceived) name for a presidentially appointed advisor. It's not even an official term within the government. We've had drug czars, housing czars, even a bird flu czar. They having nothing to do with former Russian leaders, and Obama was not the first president to appoint them. Google old news stories about George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan and you'll find plenty of references to their own czars.
