Korver

If Korver out the Jazz may be looking to pick up a three point shooter off the waiver lists. I was a little suprized they let Dupree and Harris go but maybe they think are not good enough three point shooters.

Glad to see Nelson out. He would have only hurt the team. He wasn't near as good as some other guys.

B-Ball Extremeist

I'm kinda bummed to see Dupree gone. Him and Mathews have really surprised me. They better keep Mathews, I can see him becoming a pretty good bench player in the future if he continues to work hard.

Re Anonymous@11:51

What do you do for a living ? What have you done athletic wise to make harse judgements about players abilities? Have you even played high school ball? Are you from the "Ewe" or the "Wonderful Y"?

re: Korver

Ya, there are a lot of really good 3 point shooters that are on the WAIVER list! You can pick them up at the dollar store I heard.

Good grief!!

Who are you people?

"I was a little suprized they let Dupree and Harris go but maybe they think are not good enough three point shooters."

Maybe? That might be primarily because they couldn't make 3 point shots!

Call me crazy!

Wow.

Forget your knee Korver...get your head examined.

None

Would have loved to see Harris make the team. This is disappointing.

??? How many at practice?

If there were 14 on the roster, Harpring, Miles, Brewer, and Korver were all missing from practice, then only 10 players could have been there, not 11. C'mon TRIB!

tommyk

cut everybody, except for D-will, everybody on this team are bums. Just clone D-will for every postions

Udoka...

We need Ime Udoka....

RE, RE-CORVER

Oh wise one, why would the Jazz waive Harris and Dupree with all their wing players hurt. Unless they had something else in the works.

Miles

Until CJ returns to the lineup, the Jazz will be average.

comma man

cut dwill,cut miles,fire sloan,trade boooooser,

Re: Miles

I needed a good laugh. Thanks.

Dupree wasnt that good

He never really impressed me when I watched him play and his jump shot is uglier than Jason Harts.

I watched the highlights of Paul Harris on YouTube, looks like he is quite the athlete, but he also got arrested for dealing cocaine a few years back. They compared his defensive posture to DeShawn Stevenson. He's super athletic but not a very good shooter. The Jazz are better off without him.

re: Miles

Just stop. Please... Just stop.

The Jazz have trade options

They are better off having open roster spots and eventually trading for better players than picking up players off of the waiver list. Keeping Wes does not hurt them until after Jan. when he would cost double.

The Jazz also seem to think that Korver and Brewer will be back soon. CJ will be back in a few weeks.

The Jazz might get a wing for Harp or they might get a young wing and PF for Boozer. Between those 2 positions they also need to get the tax down.

I sense a different approach from Jazz management. They seem to be more serious about winning, even if it means reducing continuity. They are finally openly talking about weakness in shooting, Sloan seems more flexible. He seems less hostage to key players.

If Jazz management actually manage, even if it is cautious, they might address the weaknesses that have plagued the Jazz for years. Shooting and defense are weaknesses. Koufos and Fez are a start toward better rebounding.

A wing who could shoot would propell the Jazz into the top 3 teams in the West. Some length and defense would allow them to challange LA and SA.

Mo Money

The Jazz should sign Mo Almond again. I heard he was going to get waived from the Magic. Maybe, a humbled Mo who already knows the Jazz offense could get some minutes and fight his tail off to stay in the US rather than Europe. At least until our swingmen are healthy again.

RE: Mo Money

Why get in the way of Morris's destiny, his game was made for europe. He will be a star over there.
All joking aside, I always felt the Jazz always had a very short string with him. I just don't think he was Jerry's pick so he never felt obligated to play him.
Was his defense really that much worse than Corver's?

Miles

We are nothing without CJ he`s the only great player we have

Morris Almond is one of the best

shooters in the NBA. He can put it in the hole from all over the court, effortlessly. He plays no defense. You'd think he'd fit right in with the current Jazz starters?
