Interesting story, and the original National Geographic Adventure article was just so sure that his remains had been found. Great to hear that further non-hyped investigation has revealed the truth. I like the magazine, but I like truth more.

It is alittle bit frightening how much we rely on DNA. Think about how many cases are said to be solved by using DNA.

It's not the DNA that's wrong, it's the people who tested it. DNA does not lie; however, it can be misread. It's no different than any other evidence that must be interpreted by humans. We're the ones that are fallable.
