Congrats RoJo | 12:59 a.m. Oct. 22, 2009
We'll need you this Saturday against Air Force. 1/11 man, stay diciplined. Hadn't heard about the top 10 DB list. That's great news. Another Ute DB in the pros next year hopefully. Work hard man and God bless.

You are the man, RoJo! I agree with everyone else here, keep working hard and getting better, you are a key to this team!
Utah has been blessed by ROJO | 11:00 a.m. Oct. 22, 2009
#17 Rocks!!! I live for the opposing team to throw it deep and pray that it floats a little in the air for ROJO to snag it. What an incredible mark he has made in the history of Utah Football. He will truly be missed... We are grateful to have had him here at the U and are even more proud of his outstanding character and what he has overcome. Hope to see you on Sundays ROJO!!!

Scott Johnson is the only one worth talking about here. This guy. LOL!! Just kidding, he is actually the only reason the pukes are not losing every game. You guys seriously need to think about it.
Ernest T. Bass | 12:58 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
He is very good when the ball comes directly to him as a soft floating easy to catch pass and no one from the other team in within 20 yards.

Johnson is a baller and I fully expect to see him playing on sundays. That said, he's saved the offense's bacon in a couple of games. Cain needs to start to put four quarters together if Utah is going to stay ranked until the rivalry game, or even until next week.

Air Force is not a team that will be chucking down field for Johnson to pick it off. Due to matchups and the way AF always plays against Utah, AF will be Utah's toughest challenge outside of BYU/TCU left on the schedule, not that that's really saying much, given the sorry state of the bottom of the MWC. But I think this game is pivotal for Utah. A loss and the Ute's will have a really hard time avoiding 8-4 with a big shot to their confidence and games at BYU and TCU remaining. If I were a Ute fan I'd be really concerned about this week's game. A win and a ranked Utah will ride a wave of confidence into tough away games at TCU and BYU and I think they'd then split those games.

Ernest, I think Johnson can handle the very best QB and ends you can throw at him. However, that soft floating easy to catch pass with no offensive players around sounds just like the ones we always see from Max. Johnson is still open and will really be open for Maxie boy. Can't wait for that big time team that does not have one of their past scheduled teams nationally ranked. Can't wait to see our offensive speed leaving your boys with their shorts around their ankles.

Cougarfan: If all Cougar fans had their act together like you and could just lay it all out like you did, we would not have any more fun on this site. God bless you coug.

Yes, it sounds like AFA is due for a win.

Air force beat us two years ago at home. A close game but the Utes couldn't get it done. A.F. always puts up a good fight.
Go Utes!!!
Re-Cougarfan | 4:23 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
Well said, I agree with your assessment. Big game for Utes this week. I do like the Utes chances at home and apparantly the bookies do as well. If the Utes win this week the next two games are gimmes. Utes would be 8-1 going to Ft. Worth. Should be a great game in Provo as well.

Robert Johnson is awesome. I just wish BYU could recruit DBs like him... and I hope that he doesn't work his magic too well against Max Hall when we meet up (But I am afraid that Max Hall + Robert Johnson will = at least two interceptions.

An All-American. This kid is just an amazing ballplayer. The best Ute dback since Eric Weddle.
RoJo is the man! | 9:39 a.m. Oct. 23, 2009
I was at the UNLV game on Saturday. During one of the plays that UNLV had the ball, their QB stepped back and scanned the field, I said to my wife, "Johnson's open" and ironically he threw it and RoJo picked it off. Amazing!

The kid is a stud. He has been the biggest playmaker/gamesaver for us this season. Which makes me a little nervous about this weekend, not many oppurtunities to get picks against AF. But if 1/11 does its stuff I think we win, and we should be in the Championship mix again this year and onto another bowl game.

By the way Ernest T. bASS, you obviously haven't seen a game, because your talking out of the tail end of name. RoJo comes flying in and snags it out of WR's hands 9 times out of ten. He's like VISA everywhere you want him to be (unless your playing against the Utes).

GO UTES!
rojo is the ''grinch'' | 6:18 p.m. Oct. 23, 2009
rojo is the grinch that stole christmas... i don't know if his heart is 2 sizes too small... but just ask the last two teams or alabama... he takes everything... even the last lightbulb...

Its awesome to see various players step up into playmaker and difference-maker roles. Weddle, Sly Stevenson, Kreuger, etc.

Kudos to Whit for crafting a system where these guys can grow and achieve greatness.

By the way, since Robert Johnson is an interception specialist, watch out Max Hall!

GO UTES!!!
