It would have been less money to clean up and update some unused facilities and use the balance of the money to buy the much needed food and not hit and miss groceries to put meals together instead of 15 cans of veggies, no meat or whatever to create a meal.

A much better use of Millions than building new Temples...IMPO...of course.

Well done.

Obviously, gmarjin hasn't had a tour of the Food Bank. The long-term need for the goods and services that the Food Bank provides are reliant upon the cosistent availability of adequate facilities. Making due with less would have meant doing less for fewer in need. The growing need within Utah, especially during this current recession (brought on by corporate and individual greed, by the way) can only be overcome by everyone doing their part. Not by judging the efforts of caring individuals and organizations that put their money where their mouth is.
