I say if you did the crime you should do the time. This 14 year old and his three friends spent and entire day tormenting these two individuals forcing them to commit crimes and beg others for money to pay off a ransom. That eventually ended in them killing one. These four individuals it seems to me had a plan and knew what they were doing. In my opionin this 14 year old deserves to be tried in the adult courts. He was capable of taking another mans life, then he needs to be responsible for his actions and face the consequences.
If this boy is guilty ... just send him in with the general population of the state prison. Those charming guys will fix him up, pronto!
