this will be a fun game to watch. however i give wasatch the edge 42-28. the wasps will buzz over the lowly miners
Park City 28 | 8:32 a.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Park City will have 28 points by half time. No one has stopped Park City's offense and Wasatch won't either. Wasatch will get their's too but not as much. Park City will win by 3 touchdowns.
42-28? | 8:36 a.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Wasatch wouldnt score 48 points against the Miners if they played them twice!

GO WASATCH!!! I am looking forward to a great game between two towns and two schools who don't like each other. There is so much at stake for this game- the Region 10 title, a 1st place seed in the Playoffs, and bragging rights. I'm excited- a fall night in Heber watching two very good football teams. What could be better?

GO WASATCH!!!
Park City by a mile! | 9:16 a.m. Oct. 21, 2009
The closest game either team had was a 2-point win, by Wasatch over Morgan...the same team that Park City blew out of the water, 48-7!

If that isn't enough to convince you, PC hung with Juan Diego (led 14-10 after 3 qtrs)...something no one has done since last year's state final.

Finally, remember last year's beat down? PC 50-6. I just don't see how Wasatch thinks they have closed the gap. Prediction: PC 45 Wasatch 14

Yes park city you did hang with Juan diego for a few quarters, however you lost to them with a back up quarterback running the show for Juan diego. Quit holding on to that 3 quarters of hanging with them you lost.

Alta lost to Brighton, not Lone Peak.
Wasatch Loss | 12:11 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
The Wasps loss to a weak 4A Westlake team.
re;wasatch loss | 12:55 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Yes wasatch does have a loss to westlake. However they do admit they lost. Its not the same old "We were in the game with them till the end...." Because they could do that, or say they were leading as well, a weak 4a team that has a schedule full of powerhouse teams in their league except maple mountain.

hahaha Wasatch beat Park City
OK Wasatch is(8-1)and Park City is (8-1)
but Park City will run wild on Wasatch
the final score will be
Park City 42 Wasatch 17

PARK CITY 50 - WASATCH 19 This will be the 7th year in a row for PC. Wasatch... thanks for playing.
hang with | 2:40 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
you right, we lost. hopefully we are fortunate enough to play your great team again. Also, your back QB is better than your starter.
Hey Wasatch | 3:15 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Win or lose at least you will do it with class, something PC wouldn't recognize if it tackled them! Good Luck Wasps!
Wasatch Fan | 3:42 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Park City is a great team with a great tradition. It has already proven itself to be a great team again this year. It will be hard for Wasatch to win, but not impossible. I'll be there cheering for the Wasps!
Either, Or | 5:15 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
You will go further in the playoffs if you lose. I wouldn't want to play Cedar or Desert Hills. Both Southern Utah schools know how to play defense, and have been playing in a Region with 4A schools, and Hurricane, last years runner-up...be careful what you wish for.
Re: Either, Or | 7:36 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009
Amen to that.
Funny Fact | 11:11 a.m. Oct. 22, 2009
Park city does have a great tradition, but they also have another tradition. Losing in the first round of the play-offs almost every year.
to Either, Or | 12:51 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
The loser of this game plays either Cedar or Desert Hills. So what was your point? Do you really think the team matching up with one of those southern teams has an easier route to the U, than the team playing Grantsville or Ben Lomond in the first round... maybe so, G'ville hung with Wasatch.
One and Done! | 1:12 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
So tired of hearing about PC being one and done. Here's the facts:

In the last 8 Years, PC has lost in the 1st Round TWICE, Wasatch has been knocked out in the 1st Round FOUR TIMES (thats 50% of the time). Breakdown...

2008 PC (Semis), W (1st Rnd)
2007 PC (1st to Logan), W (Semis to Logan)
2006 PC (1st), W (1st)
2005 PC (did not qualify), W (Q-Finals)
2004 PC (Q-Finals), W (Q-Finals)
2003 PC (Q-Finals), W (1st)
2002 PC (Q-Finals), W (Finals)
2001 PC (Semis), W (1st)

So stop with all the attempts at bashing PC. Our athletes are hard-working just like all other successful programs, and that combined with consistency makes for great tradition and that combined with the most amazing rushing offense in the State makes for a Wasatch butt-whoopin tonight!
Heart - head | 3:21 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
My heart is with the Wasps but my head tells me Politically Correct, I mean Park City 34-17.
wasp fan | 3:35 p.m. Oct. 22, 2009
