A power grab by gov't disguised as compassion.If it were for real their would be more open debate, more openness about the details, less demonizing of opponents of these plans. But instead we have a president who mocks opposition and is not pushed for more answers. Here now, no questions ask or you are branded as a complainer, ignoramus , liar, whiner, racist and/many other negative names.And this is supposed to be a democratic process? This is more like a bully telling us what we have to do for own own good.

I commend Organizing for America on their efforts to get real healthcare reform accomplished this year. One American DIES every 12 minutes in this country due to lack of healthcare. Around 3,000 people, not all Americans, died in the 9/11 attacks and we have spent countless billions on the needless invasion and occupation of Iraq since March, 2003. The Bush Administration spent $3,000 per second on that needless war resulting in just over 4,000 American casualties. Over 10 times more Americans DIE every year because of no healthcare. Where are US priorities? Should we spend BILLIONS on weapons with the sole purpose of murdering thousands in unnecessary wars or that same money on trying to save American lives? Is the choice really that mind-boggling? Call your Representative and Senators Hatch and Bennett today and insist on meaningful healthcare reform!

With Healthcare Insurance and one colonoscopy, multiple bills arrive from IHC. There are large bills but also smaller bills from other doctors that supposedly took part in it and bill individually?

The stress of how to figure out the mess. What did they do? Were they really needed?

The current healthcare system is destroying us financially as well as physically.

How does ones health recover after the double edged sword of bills as well.

Then think of Central Utah Clinic (Think its called something else now) and being described antidepressants just because the Doctor does not want to refer the patient for additional allergy tests (the Doctor gets a kickback from each patient that gets a prescription for it). Later after going out on my own to a specialist, an allergy test shows the real problem. The Doctor is mad that the antidepressants are no longer being taken (Money).

Another Doctor Office in Orem and the patients are put on hold while the Doctor listens to the sales pitch of the pharmacuetical vendor. Later the Doctor tells take this medicine even though it has nothing to do with the problem (Same medicine as the pharmacuetical vendor).

I hope this group is not contacting illegals and that any one who post a call or message to our congressmen are legal and registered voters.

Anyone who favors the Obama plan and socialized health care will be in for a big surprise when all this plan does is ruin health care in america.

The Obama administration welcomes debate from all sides, encourages ideas and is open to anything that will work. There needs to be insurance reform or regulation, not governmental takeover. Governmental takeover will lessen the care that is available and care will have to be rationed. So people may die while waiting for certain high cost procedures to be performed.

My In-laws live in Canada. My Father-in-law was having heart problems. He couldn't get in for tests for about four months. Luckily, in those months, he didn't die. Once he got the tests, they found that he needed triple by-pass surgery. It was so bad that they wouldn't let him leave the hospital after the test. They just admitted him for immediate surgery.

Most Canadians loved the idea of their health care system when it started. Now most think it is garbage.

You talk about people dying from being uninsured. If this passes, you will be talking about just as many or maybe more insured people dying while waiting for care.
