Another one touched

I am reading this story from Idaho. I feel of these families' loss through the words of this article and I am touched. I pray they will feel comfort as they work to influence others to be safe and prevent tragedy for others.

I have children nearing the teenage years and hearing these stories helps reaffirm the responsibility I have to continually teach and remind and teach some more.

God bless you all.

and what is important enough for teens to take a few seconds to remember... is important enough for all of us.
Best wishes to all and thanks for sharing so we can remember.

Just look at Donna and Chris Hansen and remember your choices affect everyone. I feel for their loss, it is mine too. I am so glad they decided to come out and tell their story and to help inspire others. As their baby says, Safety first, not second, not third, not forth, but FIRST. I love you all for sharing these heart wrenching stories and know that you will be forever in my heart and prayers.

I am from out of state and would like to be able to buy this book. Any ideas as to where I could get it?

Yes.. These stories effect my choices!! I don't want to wear my seatbelt.. But I think of Calvin and change my mind in a second!! He was my best friend and I know how my friends and I felt when he passed... I can't imagine what it would be like for my friends if I passed away from not wearing my seatbelt! And I can't imagine if more of my friends passed from not wearing their seatbelts... I love you Donna, Chris, Clayton, Cole, and last but not least Calvin. I miss you best friend!! You're always in my heart!!

The book telling these stories is available for free at dontdrivestupid.com under Resources and Downloads. There are stories available from the past two years. These families have done a great service to our community by sharing their stories. Hopefully, some good will come out of their loss in the form of preventing other parents from going through the same tragedies.
