Farmed shrimp or wild? It's a tough choice

This answered my question of why I can't find American wild shrimp at the grocery store.

I've read elsewhere that farmed shrimp, especially from Asia, is not a good healthful choice for eating, so though we love shrimp, I haven't bought any in quite awhile.

I'm glad I live on the Gulf Coast where our shrimp comes straight off the shrimp boats.
