Motorcyclist dies in crash with car

I'm not sure why Utah motobike riders don't ride helmets. In Georgia, most motorcyclists ride helmets. Here, hardly any do. As a rider myself, I'm shocked at the apparent disregard for one's own life, because every rider knows they are going to go down someday, if they ride long enough.

My heart goes out to the loved ones of this victim.

Chau was an unforgettable co-worker and colleague. I am so saddened to learn of his passing. I grieve for his family and friends.

quit with the helmet thing, I just buried a friend who wore his helmet, when you hit the ground when in a motorcycle accident, you have such massive internal injuries, you typically don't survive either way.

Really? You have stats on those claims?

Helmets save lives.

Also, this just in, motorcycles are dangerous.

Never mind helmets; what about ABS? So many of these fatalities involve "losing control" or "laying it down" in trying to stop for vehicles when the technology exists to prevent that.
