Excellent news AK played this well, a great week for him congrats. Look at the Jazz over the last few years, and I doubt anyone on the squad can claim when they play real well like AK did, the team usually wins.

adopted from Russia the know the process is "different" mostly because you aren't doing it without paying a large bribe to the orphanage and the judge.

Adoptions from Russia to USA is difficult because there were many recent cases of abuse by American parents of children adopted from Russia. These cases were highly publicized in Russia. Congrats to Andrei and Masha. They did great thing!

pre-season tourney of some kind.

From Tim Buckley's Oct 18 blog:

The Jazz are playing Charlotte in the early game of today's Preseason Shootout at Staples because they lost Saturday and the Bobcats lost Saturday's nightcap to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Win or lose Saturday, incidentally, the Lakers were locked into playing tonight's late game - because they rule the Staples Centers, and the Clippers are put up with just because they manage to come up with the rent money.

Tickets to the two two-games-a-day sessions get fans into both games - a two-for-the-price-of-one preseason promotion, even though fans this weekend seem as if they couldn't care less about any game that does not involve the Lakers.

Only a few hundred - 500 or so - were on hand for the first half of Saturday's Jazz-Clippers game, and odds are there will be even fewer when Utah and Charlotte gets under way today.

if people would read, the day before I reported the Lakers host a doubleheadeer every year and have since the forum day,
Jet Lag? Get over it | 8:45 a.m. Oct. 19, 2009
Why is anyone still talking about jet lag.

Get over it.

The person who asked was probably like me--someone who only reads sometimes. I didn't happen to read the story or the comments that you refer to. So it seems reasonable to ask a question that others have already answered if you hadn't read the answer yet. Unless the comment boards are only for the diehard fans who read and write every day, you'll have to cut some people some slack. I'm not dissing you--just pointing out something that you as a consistent poster maybe didn't think of.

i overreacted, I apologize. Someone did that with a REAL SALT LAKE ISSUe and I reacted same way,. I overreact sometimes. I am looking forward this season to hear from Houdini, Magnus, JAzz Cop and other very intelligent Jazz fans on these posts.

Take care.

I think this shows the value of the blogs and my thanks for this forum to get an explanation.

For the record I looked back 3 days in the DN Sports articles for an explanation but could not locate any mention of it. I'll admit that I do not follow the blogs real closely or was aware of Buckley's blog. Thanks

AK is pretty cool!! He needs to get a hair cut. He is on of my favorite utah jazz players. If utah jazz scores more points, the will have more winning than losing. He needs to shoot more 3 points. It will help him get more stronger. He is cool. He can't miss the games. They are really important to win the games. Andrea Kirilenko is helpful to the team.

They have to defeat the teams to make it to the play-offs. If they make it, they become more happier. There coach is supposed to teach them the right way to win and not the wrong way!!! Good thing they have JAZZ BEAR!! JAZZ BEAR is so cool. He does awesome tricks. He can even do the banana splits. If I was JAZZ BEAR, I wouldn't even could do that awesome tricks. JAZZ BEAR is flippin' cool!!
He rocks.
