He's great when he isn't pressured.
When he gets pressure, he gets rattled and throws interceptions.
You mentioned UNM in the article. BYU actually played SDSU this week. Rocky Long probably threw you off but still, you should catch these errors, or someone else should.

Very pleased with Hall's play. His run to end the fourth quarter was a good heads up play. Mobile, very accurate. This was the quarterback we had expected this year.
Less than impressed with some play calls. Both fourth downs were unnecessary risks. A run play with 30 seconds left in the half and no time outs (which led to Hall's touchdown run? Poor clock management, they could have run two pass plays in that time. BYU played better than the score showed.
Hope we get this same team against TCU. I like their chances
You wanna know a secret? Pressuring ANY quarterback makes him throw interceptions.
It's why defenses have blitz packages and the defensive linemen run stunts. Heck, it's why the offensive line blocks people, instead of letting them run free in the backfield.
Sheesh. Can't you Hall bashers be more original?
So much so that many of the Cougars mentioned that it was more like playing New Mexico in years past under the same coach who now runs SDSU's program.
You will agree that UNM has won a few more games in the past 6-8 years than has SDSU, no?
In fact,this Aztec defense was so reminiscent of Lobo defenses in years past, maybe we could even forgive Dick Harmon for his obvious slipup.
Or we could make a man an offender for a word. Seems to me that's a prevailing attitude among a certain set.
BYU fans have really let down in the voting and even Alabama's QB is catching up to Hall (who is currently in 3rd place in the vote). BYU fans should walk the talk and support this great senior signal caller who has bailed out his team a number of times already this year.
Doing a bang up job this year.
