I think that wood is one of the most beautiful art medias. I wish that I had a home with all the beautiful woodwork. Isn't it amazing, you look at a trunk of a tree and it is not really very attractive, but you get inside and are able to find the most beautiful patterns and colors. Kind of like people, what may look kind of dull outside can be an exotic beauty inside. Oh how deep am I for the day? But it really is true.

My grandfather, Johann Christian Schreiner, worked for Fetzer woodworking for many years after coming to Utah from Nurnberg, Germany. It was his life.
