They will have the #2 seed for the playoffs, host in the first round, play the 3rd seed from Region IV, which mathematically could still be Alta, PG, or Brighton, and lose in the first round, AGAIN. Riverton defines mediocrity.

Wing T 0-6 vs. BHS and will be 0-5 in the playoffs after which ever region 4 team gets the bye at Riverton in two weeks. The games have not even been close with BHS for 6 years.

Same old story year after year. An abundance of kids to make a good football team. It is not hard to figure out what part of the puzzle piece is missing here! Riverton's kids are talented! They should be a contender not a pretender.

Riverton is not good. Slow small running backs and poor coaching. Even with over 90 yards (2X of Riverton) in penalties and a touchdown called back, the Miners dominate. This without one of their best athletes on the field (#9).

To Broken, Boren, and funny guy it is amazing to me that you could be sitting at the game with family and friends saying what you say. Bingham has created an open Enrollement for every athlete to attend IE: cottonwoods running back. they have move ins that # up to 13 athletes a year bottom line they created a super team. I would love to see you coach the kids at Riverton and see whst your record would be MISTER FOOTBALL. And to Harriman lovers good luck.

Bingham dominates period!! And it isn't because of any open enrollment! That is ridiculous! Their little league program is something to behold! Most of their great players have grown up in South Jordan and played Bingham little league since they were 8 years old!!

I agree there are a lot of issues surrounding the program but the kids came out and fought hard in the second half and really tried to get back into the game after a poor start. They deserve better than this. Complaining on this board will not change THINGS! In regards to the staff they did a good job at making adjustments defensively in the second half to slow Bingham down and offensively at least they came out swinging in the second half. It did not work out but at least they were trying to be competitive. The score does not reflect the effort given. I know we lost but they did not roll over. They fought hard and if they give that same effort and the will need to they might make it out of the first round. Think about it they were beaten by one of the best teams in the state. I am not a fan of the staff but give them some credit they at least tried to compete unlike the Alta game and that is all you can ask for.

Riverton, good luck in the playoffs. I hope you represent Region 3 well in two weeks. Enjoy your bye week and prepare well. No matter who you play from Region 4, it's going to be a tough game. Even though I'm an avid Bingham supporter, I truly wish you the best come October 30.
Bingham fans, please don't rub it in. The game is over, Bingham took the region championship. So did golf, cross-country, volleyball, soccer, and a couple of other sports that I can't remember right now. Apologies to those teams.
For Bingham football, all that matters right now is preparing for Taylorsville.
PS: Deseret News sports reporters: Why can I find nothing on results of these sports? If you pride yourself an COMPLETE COVERAGE, you should cover them. They deserve recognition as much as the football teams do.

bingham will play whoever is 4th in region 4... so is it even possible for alta to drop 2 spots if they lose to pg?? right??? the way i see it is bingham will be playing brighton either way
