Pierce has raised a distressing point. While the majority of the public used to be outraged by the Simpson's constant display of vulgarity, laziness, and disrespect for authority, too many members of the modern public have become so apathetic that they no longer recognize this filth for what it is. The Simpson's is perhaps the worst example of what modern Hollywood has become: a relentless machine that is bent on destroying the traditional morals that made this Country great. If the Simpson's is representative of modern society, there is no question why it is such a mess.

the even more amazing thing about this episode is that it's coming on BEFORE halloween (fox traditionally airs these in november..sometimes weeks after halloween). i can't remember the last time an episode came on before halloween.

"too many members of the modern public have become so apathetic that they no longer recognize this filth for what it is."

But not you, oh thou speaker of truth and wisdom. We are so grateful to have such a prophetic individual among us, one so willing to come and tell us over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again the exact same thing until finally this great truth based on such astute historical wisdom is absorbed into our very souls. Such clarity of vision! So much knowledge about how things truly were and how things are - with no misperceptions or nostalgic glossing!

etc. etc.

Thank you John. Thank you.

If you're so offended by the Simpson's it's amazing you can even log on to the internet, or read the news. The Simpson's pokes fun of other shows and the typical American. It's not offensive, it's funny and clever.
You might as well go live in Omish country if you're offended by some harmless cartoon.
