Wonderful Event | 11:20 a.m. Oct. 15, 2009
These annual concerts are a highlight of the year, and Natalie Cole has a very pleasing, beautiful and classy voice like her father. Should be a great concert, and David McCullough has a very distinctive voice for narration. I'm very excited about this -- Great choices.
Concert Question | 11:35 a.m. Oct. 15, 2009
Will the Concert with Natalie Cole and the Tabernacle
Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square be available on TV live as it happens??

As Big as the Conference Cneter is, Not everyone will be able to see and hear it in person.

Hopefully it will also be seen on BYU-tv either live
or shortly thereafter so that those out of Utah
can see and participate in the Christmas
Celebration too....

The concert will air on TV next year. PBS will air the 2008 concert with Brian Stokes Mitchell this year. The concerts are always aired a year later.

This sounds like another excellent Christmas concert. Only problem is there are more than four members of my household. How do I decide who to leave home?
Awesome! | 3:22 p.m. Oct. 16, 2009
This concert is going to be great. I wish they would add one more day, thus starting on Wednesday evening. That way 22,000 more people could attend. This is by far one of the premier events of the Christmas Season, I dare say in the nation. Were so many issues divide, this is one where all Christians can unite.

As for the most spiritual, I agree that the Sissel concert was excellent. However, I still think the Walter Cronkite event was the best.

I loved the concert with the King's singers! That was really good, they were really entertaining and it was so much fun. I think we have the CD somewhere at home, and it's really good!
