Wasn't expecting a 30 point blowout. Great job Lone Peak. We will see what
happens next week if Pleasant Grove can bounce back. Even if they do play 100% I
think they will lose by another blowout to Alta.

difference in this game? Not!
PG talkers were warned all season that the talk can't walk until after their last three games - the only real games on their schedule. They are now 1-1 in two of the games with Alta looming big next week.

WOW! That shakes things up. Lone Peak has proven they're are one of the
best teams in the state. Tanner Pedersen played unreal and if he keeps playing
like that, they are going to cruise to the state championship.

Way to go Lone Peak. It takes a total team effort to win games. No doubt that
PG's Lloyd would have made a difference, but one player doesn't make a
team. Lone Peak needs to continue playing team ball, good luck in state!!

LP won the game, but will do nothing more than advance to the 2nd round in the

Lloyd's absence was the difference!! You take away Peyton Manning and the
Colts lose. You take away the best QB in the state, the best leader in the
state and your team will likely lose.
This is a Lone Peak team that got BLOWN out by Bountiful - a mediocre 4A team. Yeah, they played well as the UNDERDOG, but with Lloyd in there whole different story.

Your friends from Rich (Bear Lake) thank you for knocking off another undefeated
team so they have a chance at being the only undefeated team in the state. LP
must be awesome to dominate PG an undefeated team like that. Way to go. Please
do not get on here all you 4A and 5A people and tell us how 1A and 2A does not
matter. It matters to us. We love football in Bear Lake! We are just saying
thanks!

This is the type of game that could give you momentum deep into the playoffs.
PG looks to be fading fast. A close game last week and now a blowout loss.
Maybe if you position yourself just right you could play Davis in the playoffs and they could knock you out of State....again!

No one will cruise to the state championship, not Bingham, not Alta, and especially not LP. Wow! It's difficult to find much to say this morning, except that PG was
dominated in one game by a team that really came to play. Congratulations to
Lone Peak, this will definitely make things interesting. In 8 years of
watching these boys together, this definitely was the most I have seen them
struggle on both sides of the ball. Yes, having Lloyd out did hurt, and would
have made some difference, but where was the O-line? Completely non-existent!
Our backup QB made no difference on defense, yet they still struggled the entire
game. Let's hope the coaches watch this game film over and over and make
some changes where needed.

I love all these lloyd excuses as to why PG lost last night. With 8 D1 commits
you would think that your whole team was good and that loosing one of those D1
players wouldn't phase you. Goes to show that your team is not that good
and that Dallas carries the team. Good job to you Dallas I hope you can get
better so we can beat your mediocre team in the play offs! loves!!! :)

Congratulations to a Lone Peak team that clearly wanted to win that ball game.
As a parent and a Viking fan, that was a tough one to watch. I want to thank
Donny Lewis, #15, for stepping in. It's difficult and has to be nerve
racking to have not played much as a Varsity quarterback and step in to such a
huge role in a game we new would be tough. Now all that said, the Vikings will
be ready for Alta. No excuses. Let's go PG!!

You guys and the papers have been bragging about what 40 D1 scholarships and
that no one could stop you? With all those D1 guys I think, lone peak should get
some of those scholarships why don't you give them say 10 I think they
earned it. PG's defense stunk I said they hadn't played the big guys
yet. Lone Peak is right up there with Alta and Bingham. I have been watching
them all season they are good and deserve a share of the region title good job.

Dallas, last time I checked, doesn't play defense. LP's offense was
unreal last night and UNSTOPPABLE! If I remember right, LP only punted twice
last night because the other times they had the ball, they were points! Good
Job Lone Peak! Dallas may have been able to add some points to their meager 3,
but our defense has played great all year, give them the respect they deserve!

I thought Lloyd was the QB? Does he play DEFENSE too? Cause with or without
Superman Lloyd LP put up 33 on your defense! Maybe with Lloyd it would have
been 33-30 for LP? We will never know, but sure is funny how all the PG fans

could not stop the offense and with Lloyd playing they do not score more than 17

I played for Bountiful High and their ranked #1 in the state. they are a good
team and have always been a great program year in and year out. Losing to the
Braves is not a bad loss!

I was at the Alta/Lone Peak game and my question is, how did LP score 33 points
in a game? The game I watched, LP showed a terrible O line and the general
offense was a mess.
I believe it was 23-0 at halftime for Alta.
So....has LP improved that much or is PG just not that good?

Injuries are part of the game and every team suffers from them so save the
excuses!!! I don't think the injured QB had much to do with your defense

Props to the LP team. I was surprised at how well you controlled the game.
Tony McGeary has really done a great job teaching team. Whatever college picks
up Tannon Pederson is going to have a great competitor.
While some of the LP fans have been a little sarcastic, you never want to see any team's qb go down. You can never say what if? I thought Krueger was amazing. Double teamed the entire night he still managed to create some problems. I was impressed with the slip pass LP created on his side. Krueger is tall, fast, and fierce. Maybe the best of the brothers. However, the O-line for PG was terrible. LP was in the backfield almost at will which didn't help their backup qb. Every LP fan is now behind PG, however, Alta is very very good. Congrats LP.

All this talk is great , but there is still a pretty good team that lives in
South Jordan Called Bingham High School . Last time I checked they were taking
care of business .And nobody is even talking about the miners kind of funny that
they are ranked number 1 an they are flying under the radar . so you people from
happy Valley just keep talkin and we will see who the last team standing is . Oh
and by the way injuries are part of the game .No excuses

Now hold on a minute, you said LP is right up there with Alta and Bingham?
Didn't LP lose to Alta 23-7? So let's keep it in perspective. this was
a great win and Pleasant Grove is overrated, but LP did lose to Alta and
hasn't played Bingham yet. I have been watching Bingham all year as well,
and they are truly dominant.
