I believe he is being sentenced for what he did, not who he is. There is a bright side and a dark side to most of us, and we usually don't commit crimes when we are using our best lights. Sorry for his family and sorry for his patients as well.

this is all that is wrong with the way this current medical system is running. being a chronic pain paitent myself. I cant find anyone who will treat my pain. and treat me with respect. No doubt this man went to far. But seven years is a long time. This wouldn't have happened if they made some small changes. dr's should not have to deal with the liars. there is a way they dont have to. Pain specialists are a joke people are suffering something needs to change.

Mr. Taylor took an oath and knew full well what he was doing was wrong. He was dismissed from his former practice and continued to practice his form of medical addiction in parking lots! The law is clear and he is fully aware of his responsibilities when prescribing narcotics. I would have preferred no plea bargain and homicide charges against Mr. Taylor. He does not deserve a reduced sentence or plea deal. His victims and their families did not receive any assistance to restore their family life after Mr. Taylor's greedy acts. The young man that lost his life is just one of many that Mr. Taylor should have been held accountable for. He is a coward and prays on others weaknesses. His wife could not possibly be so foolish as to dismiss accusations of sexual misconduct. I suspect she knows her source of income will be limited with her husband in jail. I pray there is no possibility of parole.
