MTV's decision to air this piece of filth should not be surprising to anyone. MTV has a documented agenda of promoting every kind of immorality and substance abuse imaginable. Scott pierce is absolutely right. MTV is merely one example of a modern entertainment industry that relishes and wallows in one perverse thing after another. How much longer will society remain ignorant that MTV's brand of so-called entertainment is having devastating effects on the youth of this Country?

Not much difference with what MTV puts on the air compared to some of the trash Fox News broadcast.

My hat goes off to the Goldstein familey and MTV. I am woking on a Masters in Community Psychology with a B.S. in Addiction. Whatever it takes to reach the addict is okay with me. You see people fighting this and losing every minute of every day. It makes me sad when I see people as young as Adam Goldstein fall into the world of addiction when he has everyting going on, and not to be able to get himself back up.

He had the insight to know if I can not be saved manybe my story can save someone.

Small minded people think of this as ashame. People with their eyes open and thinking with their soul will see this as a cry to save the next addict.

God bless you Adam Golstein and your family. May you rest in peace.

In this day of easy access to information on addiction it is inconceivable that your article showed such a complete lack of understanding. As far as I could tell you had not even viewed the show. You missed the whole local aspect that is a Provo girl is on the program. When DJAM found her she was a meth addict and 7 months pregnant. Because of MTV and Adam Goldstein she gave birth to a drug free healthy baby. There is nothing perverse about that Mr. Pierce!!! Shame on you for your opinionated bias as far as the disease of addiction is concerned. I say HALLELUJAH to MTV for airing "GONE TO FAR" And thank God for Adam Goldstein. I like to think he is smiling down on the brave recovering addicts, their families and friends that may have gained understanding, inspiriation, and compassion. Hopefeully you will find a little insight, and especially compassion yourself!
