Is Jordan going to be out of the playoffs?? How many region 4 teams are in (4,5?).

If so, that would add to the Jordan football legacy of shame they have going.

I was at the game, and the vast majority of penalties came from the Lone Peak side of the ball. They had a touchdown and several other big plays called back, or this game would not have been close at all!

To answer the question, only four teams make the playoffs in Region 4. If Jordan can beat Brighton in two weeks, then they would tie for 4th and play Brighton for a play-in game. (I believe) If they lost at Brighton, they will be two games out of that final spot and their very controversial season will be over.

Fumbles, and bad defense. We had that game Jordan. Should have been 21 to 7 at half. But another fumble, to give them a scoring drive to tie the game at half. Jordan coaches, explain why we lose every second half of the games? I thought it was defense, which it mostly is, but the other teams we play, actually change there schemes at half. Why don't you? Why are we trying to pass the ball on 3rd down and less than 3 yards? Then goal line runs at midfield to pick up short yards, then fumble? Spread the D out and let Hart run up the middle. EVERY TIME! He hasn't not picked up a first all year doing that. Hammond and Hart are absolutely amazing players. All of the 5'5" 130 lbs frame of Hammond has more heart than our lineman. Defense play with some emotion. Our offense will bail you out if you let them get the ball with out the other team scoring every time they touch the ball. Hart you ROCK! Keep what you do rolling! Another 300+ yards! Every game this year. WOW!

Jordan can still make the playoffs with a win over Brighton. They would both be 3-3 but Jordan would have the tie breaker with the head to head win. They would be the number 4 seed and would most likely be at Bingham in the first round.

According to the brackets on the UHSAA web site, this is how many teams from each region will make the 5 A football playoffs.

Region 1 - 5
Region 2 - 4
Region 3 - 3
Region 4 - 4

THE FACT THAT WE CAN CLICK AND HIT ON ALL CYLINDERS AT THE START OF THE YEAR AND PLAY LIKE WE HAVE THE PAST FEW GAMES IS MIND BLOWING TO ME... FOR ME IT COMES DOWN TO THE SCRAMBLE PLAY OF THE LONE PEAK QB IN THE 4TH QUARTER WHEN HE RAN UP THE MIDDLE PROBABLY BROKE 5 TACKLES AND THEN HURDLED ONE OF THE DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF JORDAN. Regardless of who wins the Brighton and Jordan game, if they tie for the 4th and final spot they will have a tie-breaking game to determine who goes to state. Head to head is only used to determine seeding. If two teams tie for the final spot, they have a playoff game no matter who beat who.

I would not guarantee by any stretch that American Fork is a win for Brighton. They will need to show up and play a decent game to beat them. If Brighton were to stumble, then the Brighton vs. Jordan game would be for a "winner is in, loser is out" game for that 4th spot.

All they do is pass no runs to speak of.

Lone Peak beat us cause of a fumble. It really should have gone our way. Besides, even though we lost, LP has to play PG next week and there is no way they can beat them! They aren't good enough! PG will beat them 35 to 14.

Digger fan....watch what you say partner! We will see but I think LP knocks off the "best team in the state PG" watch and see. Then I think Alta could also get PG as well. 2 hard back to back games for PG, lets see how the best team in the state fares with those ones.

Hart is a stud, flat out. But who cares-- WINS are whht matter. Victories, championships, when it comes right down to it, I will take 7-6 victories all year long and be on the turf at the end.

Hart is a great QAB. DB (#4) for Jordan should be watching from the side-lines. He gets beaat every game.

EVERY DB (& linebackers) on Jordan's team gets beat every game. Why do you think they keep losing?(duh!) If you watched every game you would see that the other DB's are getting beat just as much.(just look at the points scored against jordan each game). #4 got beat on 2 TD passes against LP, but what about the other 24 points scored against jordan?
Think about this... if no one ever got beat, then the game of football would be very boring because no one would ever score. Watch college and the NFL and see how many times they get beat - they are not perfect so you should not expect these high school athletes to be either. If you can't go out on the field and do a better job yourself then you should not be criticizing these athletes!
