Heck yeah boys! Way to get it done! Awesome running by La'au, some nice passing by Brett, a solid line, and some beautiful win preserved this win for Hunter! Keep it up guy. Skyline is next on the chopping block! Let's secure this region victory! Way to go!

Hunter Boys

Hey C-Wood parent from last week, thanks for the comment on our article, saying that we had no chance and to mark your words, we looked at that all week to get us fired up. So thanks C-Wood parent. And enough of the calling Hunter the dark horse of Region 2. We're on the top and we plan on staying there.

Hunter, C-wood, Whoever

The real football is played in Region 4

What up C-Wood?

Gotta love it.......

Go Hunter

An awesome game. Hunter really dominated both sides of the ball. Welcome to 5A football Cottonwood.

Big Win

Hunter really dominated the entire game. Those Tanuvasa Twins were awesome once again. Just one more win next week at Skyline and Hunter will be region champs.

Another CW Parent

Hunter deserved to win the game tonight, they outplayed CW all night. This was not the same CW Team we have seen the last Month, don't know what happened tonight, but we better win our last 2 games and secure 2nd place for sure. If Hunter Loses to Skyline then CW is back in the Drivers seat for winning the region title. Good Luck Colts and fix the mistakes from Tonight.

ACTUALLY

If Skyline wins next week Cottonwood is still the #1 seed and Hunter drops to #3. This game will mean almost nothing.

Cottonwood will be HUGE Skyline fans ..... for once. A Skyline win at least gives them a first week home game for he playoffs.

Me, Myself and I

Congratulations Coach Pearce and the Wolverines. Keep up the hard work and wins.

Draper Dude

Wait, didn't you lose to Brighton like 56-0? Just asking...

Wes

Mark my words C-Wood parent? what happened? you were right about hunter being a talented bunch of kids, what you didn't know is that they were a bunch of disciplined talented kids. you just ate your own words.

Take it to skyline next week boys. The line deserves a lot of credit. They have played hunter football the past 4 games.

Go get that region title

It belongs on West side

Observer

This is not the same Hunter team I watched stumble throughout the first of the '09 season. They were just awful to watch in the beginning. I believe the new D-Coordinater has revitalized that side of the ball.

2004 was the last time Hunter High laid claim to a region football championship. By beating Skyline next week they would claim the Wolverines 7th region title in the school's 19th year (1990).

By the looks of things, this machine is all reved up to make some noise come state play. Even though we had to make a drop in region to get away from that Bingham juggarnaut, well take it. Heck, who knows we may see the Miners somewhere down the road since they wont schedule us anymore.

Wolverines to the grave!

Daga

To C-wood parent. Thanks for the fuel to keep this red hot fire burning. I bet "Mark my words" doesn't taste very good with a serving of crow. I was just wondering if you stayed for the whole game? There were alot of C-wood fans leaving way before the game was over. Nice job Hunter way to get the job done. Stay focused and take it to Skyline this week. Huge game with a "Region Championship" on the line. Good Luck

Karma Haunts Cottonwood

THANK YOU WOLVERINES!! The decisive Hunter win over Cottonwood sets up a great Hunter-Skyline Region 2 matchup at Skyline heading into the playoffs. After the cheap-shot style Cottonwood displayed against Skyline, I knew it was just a matter of time before bad karma would catch up with the Dolts. It couldn't have happened to a better team.

DARK HORSE NO MORE

Well just like the hunter boys said, they are no longer a dark horse, they are a real contender! Way to go boys! and "C-WOOD PARENT" im glad hunter is a very talented team, but i thought they wouldnt put up a fight? werent we supposed to mark your words? oh well, i guess we all make mistakes :) GO HUNTER!!

haha

zing!

Smiling Eagle Fan

Congratulations to the Hunter Wolverines for a dominant win against Cottonwood! The Cottonwood loss takes a little sting off that bad taste loss Skyline had against the Colts a few weeks ago. Next week's Hunter-Skyline game will be a lot of fun to watch and will determine playoff seeds. The dark style of Cottonwood seems to have come back to bite them. It looks like the Hunter coaching staff provided an effective blueprint for beating C-Wood if Skyline meet them again in the playoffs.

Great Coaching

Hunter's coaches put together a great game plan for this talented Cottonwood team. They really dominated this game and kept CWood off the field. Great job Coach Pearce and staff on a well prepared game. I didn't think you had a chance and you proved us all wrong. It should be a great game next week against Skyline. Good luck.

Reality

If Hunter Loses to Skyline next week they will be the number 4 seed in our region as they will have the same losses as west and west has the tie breaker based on Beating Hunter. CW will not lose to Granger or Cyprus to end the season. Win next week and Tie for the Region Championship or Lose and head to the playoffs as the Number 4 seed. That should be some motivation for Skyline.

C-wood

CHOKE!
