Mr. Nicholls needs to understand that you get what you pay for with fire protection. Just vote on the issue and if it fails look at your other options.

Although this group has singled out fire protection as an issue with figures that aren't common knowledge, but there is more at stake than that. A city costs more to run and adds many new ordinances and restrictive laws and taxes to the group.

Sandy is not a consumer or resident friendly city either, and that is a big deal to consider.
