Boozer nose gets bigger when he talks!
Boozer may be happy he is here. But as a fan I am not happy he is here....
Brewer is not improving his shot!
Look I know a lot of people are upset at Boozer but come on.
First who of us would not like to have a raise? (I do not have Boozer's skill set and until you do you can't complain about his rate of pay. I am also not a Doctor so I can't ask for those type wages either. If someone complains about who much someone else makes I think it is fare game to laugh at how little that person makes)
Second why can he say that he likes a particular city or club. I dream of living in Northern California but that doesn't affect the job I do in Portland.
All I have seen from Boozer is his professional behavior since the start of training camp and it looks to me is he is doing his job just fine so far in the preseason. He is willing to be a one year rental for the Jazz use him to the full extent of his contract and stop bellyaching.
We are excited that he is here. He is a good man and we'll have a good season. Just watch.
we could rent him to portland.
I rememebr 10-15 years ago the people in this state always got sick of old #32's bull crap to, we forget with some of these athletes we have to put up with their narcisim.......
It is always important to leave an open door for change. I can admit myself that it is hard to do sometimes. Thankfully I am not the Man I was yesterday. We all need a little room to move and grow. I am sorry Carlos Boozer I held you to a standard I myself could never achieve. I forgive you.
No he's not
Is there a "happy" clause in his contract? Happiness will come through hard execution and winning. He needs to keep his mouth shut and show that he wants to be here. Hard play and being a team player in the locker room and on the court will earn the respect of his team and the fans. At that point, he should be happy.
Oh waiter, another serving of crow for #5, please.
John stockton and Jeff H. played - Karl Malone talk about money - but, they played with pain with out having to tell us. Carlos Boozer? - he talk too much and don't play with pain and he let the pain do the talking to BOOZER! So, play ball of what you are if you want to sell yourself for next summer.
We have him where we want him. He's on the tading block if we want to trade him for a better fit and in the mean time, he has to play his guts out if he wants to appear to be someone another team wants.
Although I agree with you in principle, it is the members of the press that keep bringing up this issue. I think that Boozer would like to shut-up and just play, frankly.
What else could Carlos Boozer say when asked if he's happy in Utah? There is nothing else to say, if he wants to play his minutes.
Maybe if he shuts up, he can learn something about DEFENSE.
the best case scenerio plays out and we win our first NBA championship. I will enjoy it a lot less if Boozer has any part of it.
He may wear our jersey. But he is not our guy.
Who will want Boozer? He has a consistent record of missing 30% of the games due to "injury". I personally believe he is lazy...lazy on defense, and gets "injured" because he decides to take off a few weeks or months each season.
Too bad the NBA doesn't allow teams to pay to play. You play the game, you get paid. You play well, you get paid well.
If I were a GM, I wouldn't even consider taking Boozer in a trade. Wait until the summer when his value is diminished. Even if Boozer has a great year (which is what one would expect in his final year of a contract) I still would look very closely at his history. His value is lost forever because he only gives you one good year (the last year of his contract).
