Have the police bothered to check with the recycling yards for the rmenants? Probably not.

The only ones who have no respect for america are the illegals and they are constantly roaming the valley to rob or steal anything they can steal. Illegals have no honor and consider america a haven for rampant theft of anything that is not under guard. An american wouldn't do this, but an illegal with no ties to america except for money is very suspect.

Even to replace this memorial will leave some doubt that it will stay in place and not stolen again. Thieves have no conscience about what they steal, only how much they can sell it for as scrap.

since the thieves cut the monument off at the ankles, do the same to them when they are caught.

That is awfull to hear. My husband is retired navy and when we go up camping there buy the golf course we always go up there and take pictures. It is a beautiful place to drive up to. You are so high up it really feels good. My dad was 30 years in the navy and my older brother was in for 20 years in the navy. We are a big Navy family. I always send pictures to my brother in Florida.
I hope they find the people that is so sad. They have no respect.

this is sad to hear. People can be so cruel. we are a big navy family. The person that did this will come before his or her maker someday. i pray they will someday ask for forgiveness. it is shameful.
