No upside

There is nothing gained by the Jazz by doing the NBA's promotional bidding overseas.

There is only downside.

These guys are high-end athletes and they rely on their bodies to respond instantly. What good is sitting on a plane for 10 plus hours going to do? regardless of whether they had nice seats or not these plane rides are not good for their bodies and make them prone to more injuries.

Same goes for all the time zone changes. This just messes them up. From the news reports they can not even tell the proper time they are so confused about their sleep cycles.

PR risk. Travelling to foreign cities only encourages potentially risky behavior that our players could be trapped in. These guys are all young and full of (you fill in) and they can get themselves into trouble without much effort or intention.

So far, very little damage besides CJ, Korver, and Fess with injuries.

Sure its fun but personally I would prefer our team stays home and sticks with their routines.

Team Chemistry

a definate upside possible in long road trip.
