Sounds like another high-character guy for the Ags.

And you base that comment on what? You sound like a real high-character guy yourself.

gotta love Stew's ability to bring in kids with checkered pasts and help them become better citizens as well as team players in Logan. Naysayers will gripe, but there is enough of a history of success that there is a good chance this kid will be a stud and help the Aggies stay #1 in the state in basketball.

I don't see that this kid has any concerns at all, he left the team for "personal reasons"... For all we know, he had to take care of his sick grandmother. Besides, whats wrong with guys getting problems out in the open, getting past them, and moving on? It's not like USU's coaches remain in the dark for 6 weeks when players have broken the law.
Checkered past? | 10:35 a.m. Oct. 9, 2009
How does he have a checkered past because he transferred to a different school? Didn't Riley Nelson transfer? I don't think he has a checkered past do you? Another good get for Stew!

Woo Hoo, you'd be a cougar, correct? You guys have gone from walking by the Great and Spacious Building to now occupying it.

Hey, have any of you geniuses considered that the "personal reasons" may be due to the fact that he has a child and needed to take care of that issue, putting his child ahead of basketball? That shows character, not lack of it.

In order to stay #1 in the state, wouldn't USU have to get there first?
Re Re: | 3:48 p.m. Oct. 9, 2009
Well if the Old Oquirrh Bucket has anything to say about who's #1 in state it would be USU.... Who were you thinking homer???
JUCO Standout? | 12:39 a.m. Oct. 10, 2009
What about 6 points a game is "standout". I can score 6 points a game

Thank GOD for basketball season coming soon!! After watching that game last night, I am not sure how much more suffering I can take. It has been 33 years of longsuffering. It will probably be at least 33 more, but I tell you games like that make me start to question why I bother. But like I said, basketball and Stew Morrill are a god-send.
