Thanks Harvey

It's great to have such a a talented, hard-working player leading the BYU running corps. Harvey is not only a great athlete, he's also a great leader and example.

Only 500 yards shy of becoming BYU's all-time leading rusher, and Unga is only a junior. :)

Harvey the Great

Please, Please, Paaaleeeasse stay one more year Harvey. Just think Harvey, if you stay one more year you can have four straight years of running on the faces of "the team down NORTH", or whatever that hack of coach (now in flordia) penned.
Sincerely
The BEST Cougar fan alive

Harvey needs to be the leader of the whole team not just the RB's. Now is the time to assume that role with Hall being a senior and on his way out.

Harvey is the best player on BYU's team and needs to demand the ball more. That is the only way BYU will win the games they should win and have a chance in some of the tougher games. With Jacobsen out for a few weeks the load of the offense should be put on the RB's, especially Harvey.

Y Fan

There is not a lot of other teams that have running backs as these guys.

Harvey Unga is the best football player in the MWC. Period.

Re: Harvey the Great

2 words - Florida State. BCS baby, BCS!!!! hahaha

Booker T.

You mean "Harvey the Hurt." This guy is the biggest bust running back. He's better off selling phones with Luke Staley at the University Mall. Really though, Harvey is a big strong kid but he and Hall's off the field friendship has suffered as of late and it's showing in how many times Hall hands the ball off to him. I wish that weren't the case. They should have Kariya start and get all the touches. He's our only bet to make BCS, now.

Ernest T. Bass

BYU is so awesome, yet so humble.

Shecky

To: Booker T. What have you been smoking? As a died in the wool Boise State fan...and a supporter of almost all schools in the West, Unga could play for just about anybody I've seen in any conference in the country. The good thing about Booker T is...his lobotomy scars don't show.

geezer

It's great having both Unga and Tonga in the backfield again. Kariya, a former valedictorian, has also performed well. Lost in the article is the steady performance of Diluigi. RE: Booker T. When is the last time you played football with a broken finger? Ballerina doesn't count for toughness, although I'm sure you'd perform admirably. Anybody know what's up with Cougarboard? I can't pull it up.

Harvey had to play hurt along with Pitta last year. If he can get his hamstring behind him (no pun intended) he is going to do some serious damage. Next year with Nelson, Unga, a more experienced offensive line, all receivers back, the cougs will be even better next year. Pitta will be missed for sure but I expect another great (yes, I said great) tight end to step up.

Re: Re: Harvey the Great

I hope that dig makes you feel better, little brother :)

A rose by any other name

is still a rose.

You ute naysayers can post your negative drivel about Unga and about BYU all you want. That doesn't change the facts. When you call a rose a cactus, all it proves is your own ignorance and bias.

If you ute fans insist on posting on every single BYU article ever written, at least demonstrate some knowledge. A little class would also be welcome.

Otherwise you only prove what has been stated on these posts ad naseum: Utes are classless, have no knowledge and are more filled with venom towards BYU than they are "fanatic" about their own team.

Wee Willy, Earnest T and Michael Romney just prove my point every time they add their ludicrous comments to BYU articles.

RE:Booker T.

Cougar fans....take your fingers off the keyboard and don't respond to Booker T. He is a troll from some hole in the ground who's only purpose is to stir up contention. He really thinks he is funny and I am sure cracks himself up when you respond to his posts

USU Aggie

Ya know what.... BYU is good but anyone can have a good season and call themself great. Like the Utes last year and they were good look what they did to the Cougars. But Harvey is like a milk cow headed for the barn sorry he's big but big can't get the job done alone he needs speed. But good luck to Both Utah and BYU.. TCU will more than likely beat ya both.. double the score on Byu than last year 35-6.. this year 60-6. Good luck kittens

Kariya

Is a councilor in my Bishopric. Every time I see him carry the ball I'm like, "That dude knows my sins AND can run the ball!"

Re: Rose by any other name

You forgot to mention "the truth" along with ET Bass and the others. There is a lot of wisdom in what you mentioned. They really need to find something better to do with their time.

Harvey Unga is a really good running back and I'm glad he is part of BYU. He isn't the best we've ever had (Luke Staley probably), but he is very good.

Milk Cow

The only milk cow I saw was the slow running back that the aggies brought down from there logan pasture. Really when your so called star running back can only gain 47 years rushing compared to 118 yards and 3 tds. Please stop with the embarrassing smack talk. The cougs have beat the aggies 10 straight games and their fans want to talk about who is in the barn milking cows. Only at Utah St do people go to school to learn how to milk cows!!!

Re:USU Aggie

That's right, anyone can have a good season and call themselves great - anyone except the Aggies that is! HAHAHAHAHAHA Thanks for the setup!

Re: USU Aggie

If your predictions are as great as your math, you might want to think before you write. 35+35=70!
